Do we have a chance at all to make the NCAA's? Our RPI can't be bad considering some of the early season wins we had.

We still have a good chance to get to the NCAA's but I guarantee you the selection committee will do us no favors in terms of seeding or placement.

I am really surprise Connie is still at Texas coaching.
She has not done a good job as a Head Coach.

Look no further than the women's crew team to see what a coaching change can do. Carrie (sp?) Graves was the founding coach of the team and an Olympic Gold Medalist. Under her the team was respectable to good. Three seasons ago she left and somebody (Plonsky?) brought in a top rated coach from Cal. In just three rowing seasons he has the lady Horns ranked third in the nation with an outside chance to be NCAA champions this year.

It is sick how Baylor and ou own us year after year. Change is needed now.

Connie's term has run out! Mediocrity should just not be accepted at Texas! It makes me sick when I see Baylor or TCU owning us in ANY sport!!!!

The question is if the founding coach left on her own or was pushed out by Plonsky? I remember when it was apparent that Coach Goestenkors wanted to quit in her fourth year and Plonsky talked her out of it and finally a year later Gail quit, even after pleas from Plonsky. That was a case of a coach firing herself when the AD couldn't do it. The results, Karen Aston, are obvious that a coaching change was needed.

I just can't shake the bad taste in my mouth from this season piled on with the last few. Do enough to make the tourney and get bounced from the regional.

Just sad that expectations aren't higher.

I have wondered when the ground swell for getting rid of Clark would start. Little did I know that it is already full-blown. It is time for her to go and has been for some time. She couldn't win it with Cat, so it was time then.

I am just guessing here, but I suspect the McCombs have a lot to do with Clark holding onto her job despite the woeful results

I'm not sure Red watches that much softball. You may know more than I, but I figured Red watches as much softball as Joe Jamail (RIP) watched UT swimming.

Not unless he is mellowing in his old age. He hates losing at everything.

I try to keep an open mind but I am so tired of the mediocrity! I expect more from the University of Texas!

Man, if just half that crap about Plonsky is true, she should be retired immediately!
