I agree with most of that. The issue I have is that the tax cuts that he has in mind are NOT the tax cuts that were in the mind of the people who elected him. So far, every fiscal action has benefited those in the circle that can afford to go to Mar-a-lago. That's a problem.

Actually, the media reported that Trump had been wiretapped. Specifically, the NY Times. Either the NY Times is doing some "damn fine reporting", or they are "absurd".

To what fiscal actions are you referring, oh wise one?

I believe that the NYT and the rest of the responsible media reported that some entities working in Trump Tower were the subject of investigations and that some people were under FISA warrants. Just because a Russian bank working in Trump Tower was being investigated that does not equate to his wires "being tapped".

And of course, you are wrong:http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/201...ine-wiretapped-data-used-inquiry-trump-aides/

And again, you are wrong. Your own links show tax cuts across a huge swath of taxpayers, and I don't think everybody that pays taxes can afford Mar A Lago. Just an intelligence check here, but you do understand that if you pay $1million in taxes, a 3.8% tax cut will be greater in absolute terms than a 3.8% tax cut for someone paying $25,000 in taxes, right?

Intelligence test unnecessary. "Are you behaving like a jerk?" check may be appropriate.

I'm all for holding him accountable. However, I'm not going to launch a campaign create a national holiday celebrating the political media. Why not? Because I don't believe they're holding him accountable out of principle, which means I don't think they'd hold a politician they like better accountable. Suddenly they put credence in anonymous sources. Suddenly leaking is OK. Suddenly the subject of leaks is what matters rather than the source. Suddenly they call politicians liars. Suddenly exposing classified information to potential enemies is a terrible thing. You have to be consistent to be credible.

In other words, they're behaving like politicians typically behave. I'm not saying it's OK. It's not, but how the GOP is handling Trump is not at all unique. It's typical. Do you believe that Democrats would be calling for impeachment if a President Hillary Clinton had fired James Comey (which she almost surely would have)? Surely not. They'd be all for it.

So now you have gone from bleeding heart liberal to defender of the OU mentally challenged? Gonna pull your Horn card if you keep this up.

I never met an OU fan I didn't like, though I've observed a few that I didn't want to meet. "Mentally challenged" isn't a term I use much, particularly not among literate folks politely participating in a discussion board I enjoy.

I took a one-week continuing ed course on the OU campus ... and I stopped staying the OU S thing. Nice place, nice people. I guess like the Aggies calling us tu and everybody doing the horns down, we are entitled to be childish. But I'm defending Bubba because left of center posters are kinda rare here and I don't like being alone when Seattle Husker and NJ Horn have other things to do.

    Let me walk you through it Bubba;

The picture on the sight is of The NY Times front page. The article shown in the picture states that wiretapping was done. Gateway Pundit didn't write the NY Times article. Get it now?

Now, back to your meth lab.

I don't see any pictures. But, Trump said HIS wires. He meant his personal phones. They survielled the Russian bank and some other people that they got FISA warrants on.

I did have a kitchen fire last month. How did you know?

A special counsel has been appointed. It's Robert Mueller. Link. Not a bad pick.

If we ignore bias and political agendas then you should also commend WikiLeaks for doing some excellent investigative reporting. They uncovered corruption at the DNC specifically collusion against Bernie Sanders and some very shady relationships between DNC officials and the MSM.

No. It's been confirmed that Wikileaks is controlled by Putin and Assange is a Russian spy. Putin controls everything.

Remember that time when Wikileaks released that trump stuff? Yeah, me neither. It was in the same batch as the stoops kicking puppies release.

So political bias of the source is important? You sound like a Republican who ignores the MSM because they gave Obama an 8 year long foot massage.

Furthermore, remember when Wikileaks released any secret Russian information? Yeah, me neither. Assange may not have started out intending to be a Russian stooge but that's the end result. He and Trump may be similar in that regard.

LOL! Trump's narcissism is boundless. He needs to lawyer up. That lawyer will surely tell him to "shut up". The question is whether he's capable of heading solid advice.

If you set aside the fact that Trump is one of the few people who can actually pay a lawyer his hourly fee, he's pretty much your worst nightmare as a client. I'm sure Trump's lawyers make a killing, but they earn every penny.

This should put an end to this stupid memo thing. Comey admits under oath in early May there was no obstruction from Trump. Starts around the two minute mark.

You could say Trump is the worst nightmare for a lot of his own team, starting with the White House communications team. Seriously though, this isn't just a PR problem now but rather could mean jail time for people in the administration if Trump and the administration don't handle this right. Trump's combination of whining and bullying could feed the investigation. At a minimum, you'll start seeing Republicans peel off from the Trumpster camp and his approval ratings will continue to drop. In the end, Trump continues to be his own worst enemy.

Dershowitz stated last night that Trump isn't the only one that needs a personal lawyer but many inside the administration. The partisan Paul Begala offered some interesting insight into how this was handled in Clinton's 2nd term. They had a special team (of which Paul claimed he was part of) that operated separately from day to day administration to deal with the Starr investigation. Begala claimed it was a "parallel universe" inside the WH with separate legal teams. The investigation was forbidden from being discussed in any meeting.
