Guess you missed the 2016 story about RNC emails being hacked and published on DCLeaks by Russian hackers. Of course Left-wing Politico's article confirms it yet also says it could've been a disinformation campaign to balance the scale. hahahaha

So Russian actors leaking DNC emails had malicious intent, but RNC email leaks were used for cover? Typical leftist denial and scapegoating as usual.

Comey confirmed RNC emails were hacked and leaked by Russian sources. They only penetrated older domains. How dare a smart organization upgrade security during an election cycle? We all know taking preventative action is beyond the Left's grasp.

Perhaps my trust in the agencies to follow the policy is a little too generous.

suffice to say...they are supposed to discard it if it has no value, redact it if it has value on the target but the US Citizen is not engaged in criminal behavior, and only retain and/or share it if the US Citizen appears to be conducting nefarious and/or illegal behavior.

But perhaps some agencies are better at following this accord than others. I know it was a matter of great concern and effort in the DOD channels.
