It's not like they try to hide it. A female president that insists the HC sign a kid that just lost his offer from Florida for sexual assault on his recruiting trip to Gainesville. Football players (the entire team) paid every year to be "security" at the festival in Convict Gables, only to be a bigger problem than the gangs and drug dealers. Having subhuman thugs on the sideline during games offering bounties for knocking opposing players out of the game - cash paid on the sideline. The Miami Herald did a several day expose naming times, places, incidents, but the NCAA did nothing, and Donna Schilala was too busy making sure Janet Reno was in the president's box for every game. A little school with an endowment below a billion, no following unless they are playing ND or FSU. If they are playing someone of note, every tattoo parlor, mobile home park, & crack house in South Florida are empty. If you go to one of those games, NEVER take children or women because the subhuman "fans" are worse than UConn. Then there is the matter of NEVER go to the restroom at Joe Robbie unless there are at least three cops inside. Away games are better because all their fans traveling to away games can fit into a VW bus. Mark Richt is a quality human being and good guy. Yes, he went to school there, and was on the team, but he is hardly representative of the total scum that has represented that school over the last 30+ years. It's not that there is a lack of institutional control so much as those in control belong in an institution.
