Of course, don't forget that Kanye West is a Trump supporter.

Oh I agree, but unfortunately, 75% of the current people in office don't either.

SH, generally I would agree with you, but when the establishment can't police themselves and Hillary's pay for play goes unpunished, then the establishment gets all that they deserve.

The establishment definitely needs a finger to be poked in the eye (I'm in favor of term limits) I'd hope that we can do better than Kid Rock and his ilk. That's not a positive change.

On tour, she has four pages of demands, including four buses, three tractor trailers and six cars. Also in there is the demand for specific alcoholic beverages depending on the day of the week. Thursdays are "good quality" champagne days, Fridays and Sundays are tequila days while Saturdays are for vodka. Further demands include eight pairs of cotton socks, chocolate bars and six postcards "of local interest" with stamps. All this from a contract of hers someone posted.

But back to the matter at hand, if she wants to reduce her carbon footprint down to that of we mere peons, then she better be using a really tiny piece of a piece of a piece of TP.

For my part, if I haven't weighed in on the Kid Rock political credibility question, it's because it's so ludicrous to think he has any that there's no reason to even address it.

I think its more about who he is not rather than who he is

There is a second poll out, by Trafalgar Group that shows he leads among potential Republican candidates with 49.6% to second place “undecided” at 28%

Anybody who thinks Kid Rock cannot be a senator in today's political world has not been paying attention.

Have to agree with this. The Senate is as much of a sh*tshow as the House these days.

I agree. It's laughable that some here think Kid Rock is a joke when the majority of the current congress have their heads so far up their A$$, that they actually feel very comfortable there. We have a lot of crazy talk going on in this thread.

Word is that Mitch McConnell is threatening GOP pollsters/strategists.
If they help primary challengers, they will starve for work.

Jeff Flake is unpopular with 45% disapproval in AZ, one of the worst for any Senator.
He barely won his first term.
His announced opponent State Sen Dr. Kelli Ward is more conservative than Flake who is openly hostile to the Trump agenda. She lost to McCain by 11 points in 2016, the closest race he has ever had.
The polling so far is not extensive but of what there is, Flake trails or is tied.
Also, the Dems dont seem to be running a real candidate in this race.

POLL: AZ Sen. Jeff Flake Trailing GOP Primary Challenger Kelli Ward By Double Digits

    http://www.azhighground.com/blog/po...ardy-twelve-months-away-from-primary-election

    -------------
    From Nate Bronze

Republican Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona is unpopular — really unpopular. According to a poll about all 100 senators released Tuesday by Morning Consult, just 37 percent of registered voters in Arizona approve of their junior senator, compared with 45 percent who disapprove.

The polling firm [Morning Consult] has consistently had Flake’s approval ratings at lower levels than those of many other senators. Other surveys have also generally found Flake to have a relatively low approval rating. Flake even commented on one of the surveys in 2013, saying: “Given the public’s dim view of Congress in general, that probably puts me somewhere just below pond scum.”

Flake struggled at the ballot box in his one Senate race. During his 2012 bid for this open seat, Flake beat Democrat Richard Carmona by just 3 points. His showing was the worst for a Republican Senate candidate in Arizona since 1988.

Yep. Flake will be a prime example that loyal MAGA supporters outnumber loyal republicans in their own party.

Once a few of the never Trumpers are bounced in their 2018 primaries, Reps in the Senate will bend over backwards to side with DT the last two years in the lead up to their large vulnerability in 2020.

I would never have voted for Vidal for anything above dog catcher, but you have to admire his speaking ability and humor. We dont get much of it these days from pols.

Both amusing and not surprising -- beginning with liberal hearthrob Elizabeth Warren (+ Tester, Stabenow, Murphy, Kaine and Gillibrand) -- LOL

A number of high-ranking Democratic senators have accepted campaign cash from the political action committee of a fellow senator who is now on trail for corruption charges, records show.

Democratic Sen. Robert Menendez (N.J.) is facing 12 counts of corruption charges that include bribery allegations. Prosecutors said Menendez accepted bribes from Dr. Salomon Melgen, a previous donor to the New Jersey senator's campaign. Menendez, who took flights on Melgen's private jet to the Dominican Republic, lobbied in favor of Melgen to settle a multi-million dollar billing dispute with the government.

    This is House not Senate
Rumor that Charlie Dent (R-PA 15th) will just quit in the face of an R challenger. Dent is part of the Swamp and it's a good thing if he exits
Hopefully its the beginning of a new wave of primary challenges

The upcoming Alabama Senate primary runoff (Sessions' seat) has become interesting, pitting folks often on the same side against each other. The two remaining candidates are supposed to have a debate this Saturday which might be interesting (I dont know what time but doubt it will conflict with the Bama-Vandy game).

Luther Strange is the incumbent (named by the Gov to replace Sessions) and is supported by big money and endorsed by McConnell, the NRA, Pence and Trump. He recently agreed to back the current proposed DACA legislation and, for this, the Senate Leadership Fund gave him $780k. So he looks like yet another pro-amnesty Republican.

Roy Moore is the former state Chief Justice and has not taken any PAC money. He is endorsed by Steve Bannon, Jim Jordan, Mark Meadows, Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee and Tom Coburn. Moore won the primary (but with less than 50%) and still leads in what polling we have. Here is a quote about Moore --
“gained national attention 20 years ago for fighting to display the Ten Commandments in his courtroom. In 2003, he was suspended from the court for refusing to remove a monument of the commandments; in 2016, after an improbable comeback, he was suspended again for refusing applications for same-sex marriage licenses.”

It has to be embarrassing for Strange and the establishment Rs that even as an incumbent with a huge money advantage and endorsement of Trump that he is still losing.

If the WAPO sees this, then it means establishment-Rs must as well
