Apparently they ran over and killed a child this time
And from the looks of this, others too who are lying on the sidewalk, although Spanish officials are officially saying only one dead

The images are bad
Dont look unless you have a strong stomache
Eventually political leaders in Europe will be forced to address this, right?

An arrest made

 

I flipped on CNN and they had indeed interrupted their coverage of bashing long dead confederates to resume making excuses for jihadis

 

Apparently there was a second incident that appears to be related, but happened an hour later
Two guys in a car rammed a polce car
Passenger shot at police. He was caught
Driver drove away. Police caught up to him on foot. Another shootout. He died.

Will probably have to amend this later

 

It's hard to imagine another recent president making this reference
Or any modern politician

 

After first suggesting this guy might have been motivated by white supremacism, CNN is now calling him "Asian." This is the usual BBC technique for describing terrorists. But today, the BBC showed why it got a better grade in geography than CNN by calling him ‘a Moroccan man'

4 days ago, CNN was calling one death in Charlottesville involving a car, "domestic terrorism"
Today, CNN is calling multiple deaths in Barcelona involving a vehicle, a "van crash"

 

Always looking for fodder to stoke the fire with.

 

The CIA recently warned Spain about an ISIS threat to Barcelona

I have an ex living in Madrid (she is Basque, originally from Pamplona)
She taught in HISD, and slowly turned into something of a SJW in her own right
In any event, she tells me Barcelona invited third world Muslims in. Made them welcome. Funded radical mosques for them. Gave them housing.
Why? for votes.
She says her friends there have been waiting for this, saw it as inevitable

 

This appears to be the story --
There were 3 separate but related events:
1. An explosion in a house in Alcanar on Wed
2. The van attack in Barcelona Thurs and
3. A car attack in Cambrils

A rental car company told police the terrorists tried to rent a large truck
This plan was foiled because the driver could not produce the necessary permit to drive the larger vehicle.
So, they rented 2 smaller vans. Police tied these men to a building in Alcanar. This was the explosion on Wed (see damage below). Authorities originally told public it was a gas leak. Police did find gas/propane canisters stockpiled in the bldg.

Police think the terrorists had 3 plans --
Plan A was a large truck filled with explosives (the canisters) for a catastrophic explosion. That failed because of the lack of a truck
Plan B was 2 smaller vans with explosives. This failed because they didn't know how to prep the explosive & blew up house instead

Salou is where Mohamed Atta (piloted 1st plane into the WTC) had a key meeting with an al-Qaeda figure



The bigger point for Spain is that this entire larger coastal area south of Barcelona (Tarragona, Cambrils, Salou) is a hotbed of Salafism

 

Alcanar building. Their Plan B was to load 2 smaller vans with explosives. But they didn't know how to prep the explosives and blew up the bldg instead

 

Imagine the damage that could have been done with a large rental truck filled and properly rigged with those same explosives

 

From Spain to Finland ....

Barcelona is off the news already. Finland hasn't even been mentioned.
We are back to statues.

 

Good thing we weren't in the middle of a statue fight on 9/11.

 

These statues are the real threat to America. If we can get rid of them, all of our global warming, pollution, energy, national debt, healthcare, radical islamic terrorism, public education funding and administration, immigration, and nuclear weapon proliferation problems will be solved!

 

So the mayor of Barcelona would appear to be part of the problem
