I believe you think any negative thing that happens to you in life is a direct result of racism and you sir are incorrect. Most bad things that happen are a direct result of poor judgement and decision making.

Honestly, how did this all start, and so quickly? It seems to have become an 800 lb gorilla in one week. I can guarantee you 95% of these people couldn't tell you what Antietam was.
The hasty, knee-jerk reactions of "virtuous" white people, guilty of their privilege, makes me sad. What has happened to taking a few breaths, having a discussion, perhaps a vote even, to see what happens to not only statues, but other triggers such as the 6 Flags over Texas, subway tiles, and on and on.....
I feel like we keep giving yards, and people keep asking for miles. That makes me feel creepy about myself.
