While that's great news for Tina, can some explain the implications for the other coaches? The first thing I thought was, "OMG, George W is leaving" I know that this is important as a career move, but being an engineer ("You don't get something for nothing"), I was wondering if she's taking the place of someone in terms of the title.

The coaching staff didn't have anyone in place with that title. They were all assistant coaches. I don't know a whole lot about it either, but it seems the title Associate Head Coach means that Tina will probably be looking to take a Head Coaching job somewhere in the future. Hopefully later rather than sooner!

Title has been vacant since Travis left. I'm not surprised it wasn't Coach Washington - I assumed it would be either Tina or Jamie when Coach Aston named a new one.

Congrats to Coach Thompson. I was wondering who would fill that role and when.

Stupid question here but whats the difference between a regular assistant and a associate assistant coach?

Associate HC typically is the #2. For example, if Karen ever got kicked out of a game or suspended then Tina would coach the remainder/missed games.

Ahhh, but what about assistant HC? Obviously, it's for the future (resume) so when schools come interviewing for candidates you have that by your title. Also implies things like whose in charge when coach is away when running practices? Guess.
