It appeared on TV that the reputation that we have of traveling well was indeed the case. I had lunch today with a client that was at the game and he said even he was surprised by the presence of the Longhorn Nation at the Coliseum. His estimation was in excess of 20k (meaning that basically one in every 4-5 seats), was occupied by a Texas fan. I have experienced that twice in Palo Alto (mid 1980's and early 2000's). Would like to hear estimates from folks who were there.

    Thanks.

I wasn’t there but on TV I could hear the crowd when we made a big play. Don’t usually get that on road games.

My favorite crowd moment was when USC offense tried to get crowd to silence and it only got louder when our defense signaled for louder! :yippee::bevo:

The burnt orange was represented wonderfully.

Waiter at Roscoes Chicken and Waffles said "ya'll are everywhere. Representing well!"

Easily 20k+ in the stadium with about half on one side and half on the other of I guess it was the east endzone?!? Then some sprinkled around the stadium. I recall the play referenced above. It was hilarious because our hornfans sections with several thousand was directly above the USC student section and when we cranked it up they all turned around and looked. I don't think they could believe we were taking away some of their home field advantage.

Yeah, I saw orange everywhere. And heard it represented as well. Wasn't much of a home field advantage was my perspective...
