This notorious banking cabal is an official corporate sponsor of our athletic teams according to various items I have seen at games this year. Is this not something that Fenves needs to address after he is finished hauling off Confederate statues? The dead rebs have been dead rebs for a century or more but the bankers are still around. Can't we remove the moral stench by kicking them off campus? I know they are heaving money our way but so were the slaves.

We need to remove all vestiges of this odious bunch at once. Before they start corrupting our students by passing out unsolicited accounts.

Random thread. Why the specific hate towards Wells Fargo? They have obviously had some negative PR recently (last couple years) but are they so much worse than other banks.

    Dion,

Yes they are. Their training is nonexistent and contains a lot of erroneous and fraudulent information. They purposely give false information to their branch managers, so they will relay it to customers as fact. Ask any branch manager about wire transfer procedure and "Code 10". Ask them to explain FDIC insurance, they cannot do it accurately because they aren't trained, and management doesn't want them trained.

Wells Fargo uses the "mushroom" technique for their employees. Cover them with ****, keep them in the dark, and they will flourish.

I shall give them this, they are not nearly as bad as Washington Mutual or Key Bank, but then neither was The Bank of Sark.

I have been with WF for personal and business accounts for a long time (since it was First Interstate, remember them?) and have had very few issues with them. But I’m sure there is a lot of dark stuff in the industry I don’t know about.
