Where are you guys getting these huge Texas point totals like in the 20s and such? Horns 17 Wizards 14
No doubt that turnovers will play a big difference in this low-scoring game. I like Carter but I think he coughs up a fumble trying to make a big play but maybe our defense bails him out. I say the good guys win 17-13 but I would like to see us throw the ball medium and deep sometimes just to loosen up their defense. I think they're going to Blitz when they know we're going to throw so let's see some delayed handoffs some shuttle passes screens drop the ball out in the flat to a running back. We are going to need some tough running from the qb but it shouldn't be Shane but maybe either Ehlinger or Heard. Yes I see a defensive game just like the last one.
I could believe 21-17 for the Horns - not sure I can see the offense going higher than that. Defense will have to carry this team until the offense gets it figured out.
Offense will play better at home than on the road. We're not a perpetual 17-21 point team. Some were saying the same thing about our the defense 2 weeks ago. We roll 30-10
Maybe there was a misunderstanding and folks thought it was predicting Saturday and next year's games all in one.
Picking the Horns to win because I just had an afternoon snack washed down by a large glass of cold orange cool-aid. Horns 17 ksu-14 This game will be closer and tougher than last week. Horns need luck to win. Bill in Sinton's call to focusness is an absolute necessity.
The offense won't always play like they did at Iowa State. Look at what Herman did at UH on offense, arguably with less talent. Maybe Warren will break lose a little more and Carter will help. The O Line should improve over last week, I expect that. Horns win 31-10 and dominate the second half unlike last week.
LC, you only missed it by 4 points: Horns 34 Manhattans 10 We run better and are efficient in the short passing game. (And Dickson has zero shanks.)
