O-line is pissed and shows it. We gain 200+ on the ground, Carter has breakout game and we win comfortably: 28-10
17-13 Horns. So basically if we get a defensive or ST score, it's a cakewalk . But since our return game no longer features someone who's capable of breaking a long score, I don't see any kick returns for us. And since K State's only going to throw it 15 times if they can help it, the INT chances are lower. We definitely need to get Boyd a pick 6 so he can join the club...
Not 100% sure where this confidence of us scoring over 20 points is coming from... KSU is a much stouter defense than ISU. I think if we win itll be something ugly like 13-10. I am convinced at some point the offence clicks and it becomes serviceable. Maybe that happens this week.

Our O has to score more than 17, the OL can't keep killing drives with false starts and holding penalties, and have to get a running game going. That will open up the passing game. If we come out passing, look for the KSU D to scheme similar to ISU to prevent deep passes. Our D is capable of getting them off the field, but will wear down late if the O has too many 3-n-outs or turns the ball over. KSU like to run the ball, particularly the QB when the get a lead, to run the clock. The D will have to shut that down, which they can do. We need solid performance from special teams. No 17 yard punt giving the cats the ball inside our own 35. No long returns allowed. Protect the ball on all KO and Punt returns. Do that and we'll be fine. Don't and the cats will tear us a new one.
