I got sick over the weekend and was unable to attend today's practice. May not make it until next week.

    Anyone go?
Any observations (general) anyone cares to share?

This is going to be an amazingly fun team to follow this year! Wish we could get about 5,000 in the stands each game!!

Agree. It was great to have met you, Ellis.

There's not much we can say, just some generalities. Will not discuss plays, specific players, or injuries. Fortunately there is nothing to talk about there; all hands on deck.

Monday was not as intense as today (Wed), with full-speed, full-court scrimmages against the men. The men show the effects of not having played much together, but they are so quick, so tall, and so skilled, they provide more than enough competition. About the level of a top woman's team without the cohesion, but with better defense. Play is fast and physical.

Our 4-year players are a joy to watch and everyone looks bigger, faster, stronger. The freshmen, for the most part, do not have their legs yet for this much running. They are still mastering the plays and where to be, but they are competitive.

The athleticism at the Post is a joy to watch. Several players can fill that role and/or power forward.

These women have played a lot together and are being coached towards perfection, still a work in progress, but the expectation of doing things the correct way is constantly being reinforced.

These same things can be said for the Top 5 teams, but I like this one.

I think the Women's Basketball Team should have been a part of the Men's Orange and White Game tonight.Just saying.

At least let Brooke and Chasity participate in the 3-pt contest. Then again, it being a MBB event, they probably wanted a guy to win. :D

I agree. I was hoping the "Texas Tip-Off" last night on LHN would be both the men's and women's teams. I guess the two departments are not integrated enough to pull that off, or this one was just to highlight the men, which is fine. They look extremely promising to me, if the outside shooting is good enough. Seems like the women should get a similar show on LHN, but I don't think I've ever seen one before. At least Brooke got to be a "celebrity judge."
