Anyone experienced in this? We went ahead and bought tickets now looking at parking options. We see numerous street closings, etc. Wondering what anyone knows about the situation at their new statdium as to best options for us out-of-towers.
    Thanks

The farther South you go on Speight, the less likely you are to find all the parts to your car after the game.

D*** Sabre, are you serious? I was thinking most likely north (West really) of I35, downtown area - east of DP museum. Site says downtown is free parking just not certain how far of a walk to get to and cross bridge.

A ways plus there is construction on the service road bridges. There is a walking path down by the river that might go under 35 to the stadium (I know it goes to the highway).

I would certainly choose downtown over South campus area.

You should also be careful of offers of steroid samples along the way. :deadhorse:

We went 2 years ago and parked on the street for free near a bunch of other longhorns, we all looked at each other and ask is it okay to park here we all shrugged shoulders said idk but you guys balocked me in so your getting towed first but nothing happened. Can’t remember the exit but it was on the southbound side of 35 off to the right past a McDonald’s.

Nice stadium we sat in the endzone that faced the river nice weather out too I think I looked out towards the water more than I did the game till the end when it got close

Thanks, guess I'll take my chances with what I can find closest to the river.

Park on the west side of I-35 along S University Parks and then walk on the sidewalk down by the river, it will take you to the stadium.

Phil, is the walkway under the highway open? It was closed over the summer for the road construction.

I believe the game is 11 am kickoff and the thugs don’t usually awake until 5ish, so you’re good. :hookem:
