Is there any doubt that kneeling costs the enterprise revenue? Most NBA contracts are guaranteed. I wonder if there is any clause concerning player actions UNRELATED to the enterprise that harms the enterprise. I use the term enterprise in order to focus on the business is business aspect. Kyrie Irving (or is it Irvin?) sure took care of his own business with two years remaining on his contract. Why should the enterprise care about anything beyond the ruthlessness Kyrie displayed towards Cleveland? Is Boston to passively watch if Kyrie chooses to alienate the Boston revenue stream?
In the end it seems to be my way or the highway; either you insult all cops, take a chance on alienating them and people who support them and draw the ire of those who wish to honor our country or else we will double down and insult you even further with accusations of slavery, plantation ownership, racism and 1st amendment violations WHILE cashing our checks.
This is not to say there aren't real problems. But who is supposed to pay?
