Short-term memory loss may be something you might want to have checked out by a medical professional.

What? The budget has little to do with the success of the economy except for the cutting of government.
The deregulation that has occurred is a lot more than just the EPA.
Your version of reality might be something that you need to get checked out. Most experts will tell you that the new president starts affecting the economy after 5-6 months. I ought to know. I'm a business-economics major.

SH, I can't wait to see your excuses a few years from now if Trump's economy keeps growing. LOL!

No, I'm saying Joe Schmo is seeing a better economy due to deregulation. Consumer confidence is also higher now because most people knew that Obama didn't have a clue to what he was doing.

Putting that business economics degree to work, what data can you point out to prove your thesis?

How about you go first to disprove what I said? I'm not going to go through all that hassle so you can spin whatever I put out without you doing your homework as well.

Can the Dems filibuster the vote when it reaches the floor?

No, likely for arcane reasons but anything related to budget (spending or revenue) is generally filibuster proof.

This was a ploy to give Cordray something to brag about to Democratic primary voters when he runs for governor of Ohio. His position on this was nonsense, and he knows better. The statue empowered him to name an acting director when he was "absent or unavailable." No literate person would think that means he has the right to name a successor after he permanently leaves. Leandra English's lawsuit to stop Mulvaney was frivolous.

Sarah Sanders is awesome. I was worried when Sean Spicer stepped down, but SS is playing on a whole 'nother level. DT should be high-fiving her in the hallway every day.

She's the rightful acting director like I'm the rightful Secretary of Defense.

That's good news. Well, it could be bad news if the Republicans bumble this like they did Health Care. Can't blame the Dems for filibustering.

Okay, it’s called the Byrd rule - as long as the change in spending or revenue doesn’t add to the deficit (based on the current budget) over a 10 yr period, it’s not filibuster-able.

In 2011, Congressman Anthony Weiner was demanding Donald Trump be fired from his TV show.

In 2017, Weiner in jail and Trump is the President

    A little surprising
    Big vote nonetheless

Remember when Trump said the Access Hollywood tape was just "locker room talk?"

Media pundits acted as if they'd never heard a man even comment on a woman's appearance.

Now it sure seems like "locker room talk" is much more respectful than "news room actions."

If Pompeo does go to State, Trump had floated Sen Tom Cotton's name to replace him at the CIA

Wikileaks is already showing us that the DNC has ready-to-go "dossiers" on Cotton. One has a picture of him dining on a salad with Russian Dressing!

It now looks like Senators Steve Daines and Ron Johnson will back the Senate Republican tax plan

But the are still 4 (I think) Rep senators uncommitted
