I'm with Brad on this part. Investigate, and if, after the election, he is found guilty of some criminal act, remove his *** and let him face justice. The timing of these allegations was done precisely to hang him in the court of public opinion, in the hope of stealing an election.

On Moore's website they are claiming that Corfman made false sexual allegations against a few pastors in the past. I wonder if there's any truth to that or is Moore lying?

Again, this is Lanny Davis talk. You're spouting rationalizations and diversions like Clinton's defenders did. I'll ask again. What evidence do you have that discredits Leigh Corfman? What in her story doesn't add up?

If we applied that standard consistently, John Conyers, Al Franken, and Richard Nixon would never have left office. We need a judicial proceeding to jail somebody. We don't need one to not vote for someone.

There is a huge split in the Alabama polling

    The two latest are
    Emerson +9 Moore
    Fox +10 Jones

I think the Fox polling is Rove's people
Someone is going to be missing it pretty bad

Here is my original post the day the Moore accusations broke. Which was reflexively criticized. But i think it still holds

The whole Moore thing is disturbing, no matter which story is correct
If its true Moore did this, then he is disgusting.
But if this is fake, then the media and their partners at the DNC are destroying someone's life for their own political gain.
Either outcome is bad. No winners.

If Moore win, its not a great look
If Jones wins it is even worse as he will sit in the Senate defying the will of the people of Alabama on nearly every issue for years to come

From a purely pragmatic perspective, the best thing for my side is a Moore win followed by a quick retirement. We have already seen the Ala. replacement rule in effect over Sessions. There would be a temporary replacement by the Republican Governor followed by another special election. The Rs losing this seat would be muy malo.

From the moral/philosophical perspective, however you want to look at it is however you want to look at it.

I think the outcome will be the he will win and the Senate will take action against him. To me, I wish the merit of Doug Jones the man were more in play as opposed to the fiction that DJT is parroting for the world - weak on crime, weak on ____, etc.

Has Rove ever been right about anything?

I think you missed one. Crockett brought it up on 12/3 but you didn't comment or bring it up. Why? (Rhetorical question).

Rep Farenthold who settled one sexual harassment claim for $83k now has admitted that there were 2 more harassment claims last year.

From my perspective, any and all politicians with multiple sexual harassment allegations in the past need to leave office. It doesn't matter whether you are R, D or I.

That is that is a 19% spread on concurrent polls with 4% margins of error
    How is this possible?
Why are they allowed to self-describe as "scientific polling?" This is not science

Moore has already said to Hannity that he knew Debbie Wesson Gibson, as a friend, then now claims in his stump speech he didn't know any of them.

I made the same point on Friday. Both sides use the "criminal conviction" standard for self serving purposes. It doesn't absolve Roy Moore's behavior with the 9 women that have come forward.

Yep. Moore can't even keep it straight whether or not he knew these women, but we're supposed to assume that his version of the facts is right and that all the women are liars.

Leigh Corfman said that she called Moore from her bedroom when her mother said she didn't have a phone in her room at the time. However, that doesn't exactly make her a liar either. 40 years after the fact for people who are now age 60-70 years old who usually do not have good memories at this time in their life. Don't believe me? Ask your elderly parents about events that you did with them just 20 years and see how much they screw up the story. That's the problem with all this. It was 40 years ago and memories do change. I would be more likely to believe this stuff if there were more recent events. If Moore was such a horndog why aren't there more recent events? Sexual predators usually do not change.

I still don't understand why the left keeps going in this direction in the first place. Moore can be easily attacked because of his screwball ideology more than this stuff.

EXACTLY! Nobody trust the MSM or their political partner the DNC right now. You can't keep trying to pull this stunt right before the election and expect anything to come of it. If something does then let it be after the election and when they have time to investigate it. Allow the consequences take affect then. This BS of don't elect him and we will prove it later is no more an option after time and time again of them doing this. It's become a pattern with them and nothing is said about it again once the election is over. The Swamp is so much deeper than we ever realized.

Here are the two possible headlines in the morning after the election --

Roy Moore's Victory Will Haunt the GOP Forever

    or

Roy Moore's Loss Will Haunt the GOP Forever

Who can keep track of women you knew in the 1970s?
That is quite the standard you attempt to force on everyone

70 year old people have a photographic memory when it comes to 40 year old events. You didn't know that, Joe?

LOL. I have to admit I am getting to that point where I remember some things from long ago better than I do last week. For better or worse.

I have an exceptional memory (or used to). My memories when I was 20-30 is fast disappearing.
