The league is out to another good start as every team is no worse than .500. Seven teams have winning records with three still undefeated. Team Record Kansas 6-0 Texas 6-0 West Virginia 6-0 Baylor 6-1 Oklahoma State 6-1 TCU 6-1 Kansas State 5-2 Iowa State 3-3 Oklahoma 3-3 Texas Tech 3-3
So far, the Big 12 looks unimpressive to me. What are the best wins? BU over Kentucky in Waco? Is Kansas improving or does it just look that way because of the weak schedule? The SEC challenge games this weekend interest me. I look forward to seeing what West Virginia does at Texas A&M. WVU has a strong looking starting five even with Tynice Martin out (I think she is still out). I hope our near bottom of the conference (ISU) beats a Sec bottom of the conference team (Vandy) today. How well will Ok. St. hang with Mississippi St? Texas needs to play well against Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida State this month. Outside Baylor and West Virginia, I don't think the conference games provide many chances for Texas to impress anyone.
