Just a heads up if you haven't purchased your UCONN tkts there's slim pickings remaining on texassport.com. Stub hub still has tkts but its going to run you $40+ a tkt.
Wow! It appears that the mezzanine level is almost sold out! That's fantastic that the FEC could be completely full for the UConn game.
That would be awesome. Hope that it's Texas fans buying the tickets and not the UConn faithful. Either way, it's been a long time since we have seen the FEC filled up. Glad I have my season tickets. Speaking of which, I do have an extra ticket should anyone not mind sitting by me.
I’ve got my tickets in hand a bringing along a Texas Tech alum. I’ve already got him fanboying Texas Volleyball, so WBB is next.
I don't think the whole mezzanine is almost sold out. For our other games, ticket availability for the mezz is listed as none because they don't open it up anymore. I believe what they've done is open up 3 sections in the mezz at mid-court since the arena is sold out.
OK. I need two more tickets. I think I'm just going to get them the GA mezz. tkts. How's the view from up there? I just don't want to drop another $100 and we get ran out the gym. But I know the ladies should be able to hold their own. DECISIONS! DECISIONS!
Front row of the mezzanine is a really good seat, or two or three rows up from there. Of course, being in the FEC, you are a bit far from the action, but that's just the FEC.
I went to a TX men's game once and was halfway up the mezzanine. Swore I'd never do that again. It's awful. Again, that was halfway up, so the first two or three rows could be much better, as @JoeDallas says.
You are correct Tempest, they are just now opening up the mezzanine for ticket sales. The arena level is sold out.
Not all season holders show up to every game, so it's possible you can move done. Even for people who want to come, life gets in the way: work, illness. Section 34 often has empty seats.
Mixed emotions about such a large crowd. One hand, always glad for our girls to have 10k+ cheering them on. On the other hand though, nervous about what kind of product we will be putting on the floor. With a lot of them seeing this team for the first time, have to be mindful of what impressions they will draw. We often times criticize the community for the lack of support but Monday is a major chance for this team to own it
