Where is the Offense??

We have no 2s and no 3s. Where is the GO TO guy in the last 5 minutes? There is not a guard nor 6-5 to 6-7 forward who we can hand the ball to. Our bigs play above the three point line more than any team I've seen. They are average to poor outside shooters like the rest of our guys, but as a result put backs or inside scoring is limited. Are bigs don't shoot free throws because... why foul them when they are above the key?

Febres showed something in the first half and them gets pull for one mistake???

If Bamaba is a one-and-done it's all on potential. He has been schooled the last two games by his opponent.

Our coach looked lost during the second half of the Baylor game.

I am not optomistic about this year.

I warned everyone not to get too excited about the win at ISU. They have beaten no one decent this year and are 0-3 vs the next three worst teams in the league....Texas, KSU and OSU. Of course we had to come from behind to win in overtime while their other losses were by 9 and 16 points.

I know for a fact we have the talent to play much better than this and I hope we see better consistency soon.

If something doesn't change I see 6 or 7 league wins this year and maybe a 16-14 or 15-15 record if I did my math correctly.

We'll have a much clearer picture after the next four games. If we can come out 2-2 I'll feel a little better, 1-3 and we are definitely on track for a .500 year and no tourney again.

I cannot find two wins over the next four games. One at best. tcu L, ttu L, osu w, wvu L. Looks like 1-3 to me. 0-4 possible.

I totally agree. We were very competitive early nearly beating Duke, should have won, nearly beating Gonzaga and beating butler. That is our high point.

All of these teams, and almost every other team, has gotten better as the season progressed. Texas has not. I know that Jones is out, but can you name one player that is better now than he was at the beginning of the season. We were competitive early because of raw talent. That talent is basically the same but they have not learned how to play together as a team. We are five individuals playing at the same time.

I think the coaching must consist of just "play basketball".

Four B12 teams in the top 20 this week. TCU WVU TTU, three of our opponents in the next four games, and osu, our 4th opponent is 11-4 on the season and 1-2 in conference. Our game with osu will be a tossup.

Its gonna be really tough in the B12 if we can't get Jones back healthy with his jump shot working. Guess that's not news to anyone, but when I saw the top 20 rankings with the B12 teams kicking arss, it just kind of blew me away.

Exactly! If we can pull out two of those id be really impressed. Playing how we're playing I don't see it happening, but we have the talent to hang with anyone.

I wish I could agree about our talent. I just can't find talented, consistent shooters on our squad outside of Jones, and he's out. (god bless him, I hope he is able to recover and play this year)

Bamba and O look really talented one game and the next they look pretty mediocre. Same with Davis. Lets don't even talk about Roach.

It seems we really don't know what to expect out of this team from one game to the next. Consistency of play, to me, seems like a coaching issue.

It's not all potential. He outplayed KU's Azebuike pretty conclusively, for example.

    THIS.

In light of what is undoubtedly a completely crushing blow to team morale of late, I'll predict we try to hang in tight in all of these games but have no finish and drop them all. 0-4.

    and this.
