Will Earl Thomas’ holdout strategy pay off?

    He might be the best safety in the league, but probably not for much longer, and I don't think he's doing himself any favors here.

    He's looking for one final big payday. He's still a top 3 Safety but from my amateur view his health is becoming a factor. One of the reasons he's been so effective is his reckless abandon style. In the past few years he's missed multiple games. That can't be expected to improve as he ages.

    Seattle started preparing for the demise of the "Legion of Boom" last year by drafting 2 safeties and 2 CBs, all of which are still on the roster. I'd expect that to continue this year.
