We have had our heads handed to us 1st 2 games in Baton Rouge to the tune of 23 runs allowed.............We need game 3........Hook em'.............that is all.
Shugart apparently pitched well for the first 4 innings Saturday night but sounded like he got into talking w/ one of the LSU players and the wheels fell off for him.
Shugart got hit on the ankle with a batted ball in the 5th and he was never the same after that. Pierce left him in much too long after the injury IMO.
Agree. Game 2 was a gift to LSU. Two losses are not good, but taking a step back Texas was competitive in Game 2 and won Game 3 so that is a positive. Now sweep Northwestern and be more than competitive against the Trees.
That catch should have been made and it was ruled a hit, which was BS I thought. It hit Ellis in the glove! Their CF made tougher catches than that all night to rob us of hits.
