Guess Leach asked his players to stop texting their fat girlfriends after last night.

Pretty interesting that Nebraska just hired WSU's AD. Although he rubs some blue bloods the wrong way it would be fun to see Leach follow his AD to the BIG. His offense would drive them crazy.

I'd take Leach over Mike Riley in a New York minute.

Mike Leach to Nebraska would be epic. Would they go for it, though? Strikes me as a pretty conservative place and Leach's clear lack of GAF, as mentioned, would surely rub the blue bloods the wrong way.

Leach has two problems getting the Nebraska job:

    1) He's Mormon, and Lincoln is on the edge of The Bible belt

    2) Scott Frost; if new AD hires Frost, he is assured of job security

Except for the size of the stadium ... the challenges at Nebraska look a lot like the ones at Tech and WSU.

    Tech has a recruiting base

WSU has a recruiting base, albeit leftovers from Cali-prune-ya

Nebraska gave up its recruiting bases (Texas & California) when they moved to the rust belt

I'll give Leach that he took Waszo off the mat, but his dgaf style always translates to his players to dgaf several games as well. (Re)Member when they upset us and then s*** the bed at Norman the next week? I think he used to beat ATm regularly but then he'd get beat by State (all of em).

That's not his real twitter account, but Tech really did screw him over and then cower behind immunity.

They were 9-4 (5-3 in Conference). Lost to Texas, Houston, aggy and OSU. Beat Michigan State in the Alamo Bowl.

Maybe the account is actually mocking Leach?

Leach wrote a Players Tribune piece "5 Thoughts... Nothing to Do with Football"
    https://www.theplayerstribune.com/5-thoughts-that-have-nothing-to-do-with-football/

-- When I was a kid I had a pet raccoon. I really liked raccoons — still do. I know an inordinate amount about raccoons actually. People fuss about raccoons all the time, but I’ve never had a problem with them. At my place in Key West, raccoons will show up sometimes and I’m always happy when they do. I named my pet raccoon after one of my favorite book characters, Bilbo Baggins. .......

-- I’m a thin-crust pizza guy. I respect people who like thick crust, but in my view it’s mostly bread. I like a lot of cheese topped with Canadian bacon, black olives and mushrooms.

-- Before I ever got into coaching, I got my law degree at Pepperdine. I think the legal profession is getting somewhat corrupted. When it comes to lawyers, I think it’s kind of a Catch-22. On one hand, there’s so much process, procedure and mess caused by the legal profession. But on the other hand, the only way to sort through all that process, procedure and mess is through the legal profession. That’s why I think lawyers are both very destructive and very necessary. It’s like if you have guys coming after you with a sword, well, you better have a sword too. It’s a shame though. We definitely don’t observe the Constitution like we once did. Now we treat it as more of a suggestion — but that’s a whole other conversation.

He will also learn that ALL of his skeletons that may be lurking in the closet are fair game in litigation...

The bit in the article about 'fair to say never playing at WSU' again should have just stopped at 'never playing.' What coach is going to want to take on someone that is apt to sue over being cut? It will also impact his viable job prospects going forward even beyond the athletic realm...

This one has a totally different vibe to me than the TCU lawsuit. This one sounds frivolous and groundless to me.

As MB noted, this player better be ready for every single team rules violation and skeletons he has ...
