Texas v UTRGV

Horns sit at 24-14 with a Tuesday night game against UT Rio Grande Valley as they start a run of six out of conference games that includes a trip to Sugarland tomorrow to play Texas Southern, a 3 game home series with New Orleans this weekend and a visit from UH next Tuesday. Need to win all six starting tonight if they hope to get a regional host.

 

30-14 wouldn't be a bad looking record.

On December 6, 2012, the University of Texas System Board of Regents approved a proposal to abolish The University of Texas–Pan American and The University of Texas at Brownsville/Texas Southmost College, and create The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in their place.

 

Ah yes, forgot about UT-Pan Am. We used to play them pretty much every year when I was in Austin.

 

Jake McKenzie plays all nine positions (pitching last 2/3rds) and Horns run rule UTRGV 13-2 in seven innings to push record to 25-14.
