OH was going to graduate early in December of 2018 and get on campus Spring 2019. However,
the guess is that the slot left open by Lexi Sun's transfer prompted her to come even earlier:

On the volleyball boards is mostly:
    a) Typical, immoral move by Texas
    b) Uhhh, okay I guess if she wants it
    c) OMG, is this what volleyball has come to?

I say Yay! But hope she can acclimate that early far from home.

WOW! Getting younger and younger. Think she redshirts? Probably not since we are short on OHs.

We had to convert a MB to play Opposite this spring and, until Logan's decision to enroll early, had no additional pins arriving for the fall. She will not redshirt. Even with her on the roster we'll still have to convert a MB so we have depth at the pins.

Supposedly on the This is Texas tour, Elliott said we're getting 2 more commitments. Since he can't officially talk about Logan, I'm assuming she's one. The Croatian outside may still be in play too.

Logan was planning on being here this coming spring, iirc. So she comes in a semester early? I don't see the issue, if she has graduated HS and is eligible to enroll at UT.

The UT-haters imply that Texas pressured her or floated the idea of adding additional classes (online) in order to move that graduation up 1 semester early in order to fill holes in our lineup. i.e. Big Bad Texas takes away a young girl's life experience to fulfill their needs.
    Yeah.

Well, she had to have made that decision BEFORE Sun announced her decision to transfer in order to complete a semester's worth of classes, even if they were online. I'm sure she and her parents discussed it and came to what they felt was a good decision. Although I am sure her HS coach wasn't too thrilled with her skipping her senior season.

Haters are going to find a reason to find fault regardless. I'm sure they would have found another reason to come down on Texas if it weren't for this.

It was actually....amusing. Arguments went back and forth. At one point, someone pointed out that a player in 2006 re-classified as a senior to start volleyball early at some Big 10 school and that was met with......crickets.

People calling each other idiots, while arguing over Logan enrolling early.

Someone pointing out that a juco player from CA signed by Nebraska who started school in January suddenly was off the team just about the time......Nebraska pulled in a very well known (cough, cough) transfer OH.

Finally, the discussion thread was locked by the moderator.

Anybody want to speculate if Eaggleston will start......or be in some sort of Rotation? In other words.......similar to what Sun did last year. The video I saw was not conclusive as to her impact.

According to the articles on it, she did not make the decision before Sun departed. Sun's scholarship availability is what started the discussion between Texas and Eggleston's family. The over the top reactions on volleytalk primarily from Nebraska fans is remarkable considering this impacts them in no way other than the fact they were enjoying our loss of a player and it irks them we just reloaded. Funny thing is one of those NU posters said why would Logan want to leave early to go to a team with so much emotional/personal problems? Well truth be told our emotional problems graduated and based on what I've heard NU just took 90% of our personal problems on via the transfer. So good luck with that.

My bad. UT announced that Sun had decided to transfer in late Feb. I thought that was kinda of late to start taking an extra semester's worth of classes to graduate early. Of course, the UT coaches probably knew that Sun planned to transfer before that. So they could have talked to Eaggleston about graduating a semester earlier than she had scheduled.
