    Your tax money at work

"The U.S. Agency for International Development under the Obama administration provided $9 million to a group supported by liberal billionaire George Soros that was then used to financially assist left-wing political activities in Albania, according to a new watchdog report.

Documents obtained by Judicial Watch show USAID pedaled the money through it’s Civil Society Project to aid Soros’ Open Society Foundations in Albania, and especially assisted the group's attempts to provide the socialist government authority over the judiciary.

In total, $9 million was allocated for the “Justice for All” campaign, an effort overseen by Soros’ East West Management Institute, the documents reveal....."

I wrote about this in this thread months ago

"Attorney General Jeff Sessions has finally announced an investigation into the use of federal money to fund radical leftwing advocacy groups. In making the announcement Sessions cited that at least six billion dollars was funneled into what was essentially a slush fund for Obama’s army of street activists. It’s almost a certainty that that amount is going grow significantly.

The groups receiving the money included La Raza (now UnidosUS), NeighborWorks America, National Community Reinvestment Coalition, Operation Hope, Black Lives Matter, and a spin-off of Acorn The Mutual Housing Association of New York, among numerous other extremist groups.

The scheme called for Obama’s Attorneys General Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch to direct lawsuit settlements, including punitive settlements, to thirty parties who were not part of the DOJ’s legal action...."

We've seen this before, start with a premise in mind then seek evidence to support said premise. Iraq War II anyone? Bibi has an agenda and is in trouble politically thus needs a distraction.

Did anyone believe that Iran didn't have a nuclear weapons program? The goal of the JCPOA was to "pause" the program. Is Bibi providing any evidence that Iran is violating the current agreement, continuing to build their nuclear weapons program? It seems he's claiming that Iran is violating it because they didn't come clean about their prior initiatives and that they archived their prior work, not that they continue to build it in secret which would be grounds for breaking the deal, IMHO.

Iran should be held accountable for not sharing all their previous research but if that's the worst of this endeavor I wouldn't go so far as to pull out of the deal. That's cutting off your nose to spite your face. If they've merely "frozen" their nuclear weapons program isn't that better than nothing? Delaying their work on a nuclear weapons program has significant value.

Didn't you know that we'd see people who believe that the mullahs in Iran are more reliable than Israeli intelligence? That speaks volumes.

Recognizing that "*******" is a characteristic the alt-right endears, James Woods might be chief among them.

Only when talking to you and a few others here. When in Rome do as the Roman's do, right? Sadly, there are many people I have no quarrel on this board with. This isn't a place to come to express your views without challenge. There are plenty of sites to visit that offer a single perspective, both on the left and right. Some simply don't like to justify or debate their position.

And now, the Obamas are going to produce a series of films for Netflix. Terms are not disclosed, but it is believed to be worth tens of millions, at least.

If Steven Spielberg isn't qualified to be President, why would BO and MO be qualified to produce films?

Remind me to cancel my Netflix subscription. Amazon Prime is better anyway.

Are you serious Clean? What pray tell, can this be about? Community organizing 101?

This might be a payoff for net neutrality. Keep in mind that net neutrality was very pro-Netflix (and pro-Amazon Prime Video).

Israeli intelligence is so good? How about a credible explanation for the attack on the Liberty?

What do you wanna bet Obama's films for Netflix are overly long and boring, like his speeches?

Overly long and boring, smug and self-righteous, and completely devoid of common sense.

I'm not sure. Of course, he's not going to write or produce anything. Professionals are going to do that. He's going to put his name it.

Producers rarely do any writing. Don't they typically just fund the production and give direction to others? I expect this will be like Al Gore's "Inconvenient Truth". The Obama's may have cursory roles but they'll narrate based on a script or appear in the productions to enhance the intended narrative.

Man you and Htown sure have a bug up your butt about the Liberty. It was determined to be a case of mistaken identity which Israel apologized for and paid reparations. Why can't you let it go at that? What other reason could there be for Israel to attack the ship of their biggest ally and weapons supplier? You wanna dump the only democracy in the entire ME just because you *think* there was some other sinister plot in action WRT the USS Liberty? As you said, it was 50 years ago.

I wouldn't be too sure. He claimed to be the best speechwriter on his staff when he was in office. He claimed to know more about foreign policy than his advisors. Maybe he figures he knows more about screenwriting and directing than anyone else, too?

Yep, Obama had a lot of bravado prior to getting into the White House. I wonder what he'd think now? Of course, Obama never stated this publicly but rather was quoted in books and by his staff as saying it.
