They built a Army Ammo plant in 1941 in Karnack (Longhorn Army Ammo run by Universal Match).........it just so happens that Lady Bird's daddy (Thomas Jefferson Taylor) owned about a 1/3 of the between 8 & 9 thousand acres they built the plant on...........of course by then she was married to one LBJ...........dont think there was any monkey business there do you?
