played in the Astodome........1st time the mid-Summer Classic was played in primetime and because of the success of that game on TV everyone since has been played at night...........I will always remember the 71 classic ( if my semi-old memory isnt faulty here ) when Reggie Jackson hit a homer that hit the light standard at the top of Tiger Stadium in Deeeeeeetroit. BTW the NL won this one 1-0..............sounds about right for '68 the year of the pitcher, I doubt anyone will ever approach Bad Bob Gibson's 22-9, 1.12 season.
