Don’t know how likely it could be to happen or what the level of competition/quality is but the pitcher from the Philippines (Royevel Palma) just shut down the team from Texas. Her accuracy was deadly.
Maybe its improved, but I tried to watch some of the US games with my daughter a couple years ago and the pitchers could barely get the ball over the plate.....or to the plate in the air. It was really bad softball,but maybe it has improved since. I'm sure the international countries dont have many alternative playing options so they may have some really decent talent.
