I was discussing this with my dad the other night before LSU played Miami. Told him I was pretty sure we had LSU beat in the underachieving category. Looks like LSU proved me right.

We say you all? Who does less with more?

Seems like when LSU had the turf crunching mad hatter, they did "Les" with more.

Perhaps a bit of trolling, yes. I suppose I am just a bit bitter after getting my hopes dashed again. I just don't see it getting better any time soon under this regime. I soooo hope I am wrong, but unfortunately I usually am not.

Seriously though, when it comes to football since Mack left I am challenging all to find a program that has done less with more. The fact that we make all of that money and still are mediocre at best at football is alarming, right?

That's the thing for me. I am wasting a lot of time and $ to have Direct TV here in the Chicago area so I can have LHN and see all the inside stuff. I have to have the most premium package up here to have it. This week will probably be the first televised game that I will make absolutely no effort to watch, and it's on LHN.

Interesting CIH, I was thinking about cutting cable this week, go DirectTVNow streaming for free 7 day trial just to see the game. I have Comcast now, no LHN.

Sports bar will be all Aggy Clemson. Puke

Maybe I will look into DT Now, but I guess my point is I am getting no thrill whatsoever out of watching Texas.

Results are one thing, agree. The journey is another. Win lose or draw, the journey can be more fun than the result #HornFans.com

Florida, Florida State, UCLA, Michigan, Aggy...
Not to mention the embarrassing exits at Ole Miss, soon to be Ohio St.

Ohio State has hardly been embarrassing on the field. Ole Miss a different category. UCLA gets a pass this year. Florida may win SEC east. FSU and Michigan I'll give you.

Badass: I can no longer enjoy the journey. Watched our OB miss his receivers badly during the first Texas possession and told my wife: he has not improved since last year and we are running the same predictable offense. Set the TV to record and went shopping. No longer enjoyable to watch such a poorly coached team.

You would think $10,000 lockers and a $200 million addition to the stadium would buy more than 6-6.

Changed from $300/mo ATT Uverse pkg to $43 ATT DirecTV Now + $41 ATT Internet and have LHN and Cloud DVR.

You can save and enjoy the Horns

Do you live in Texas? I have to have to have the Premium package up here to get LHN. Of course, not sure how much longer I will need to have LHN with the current staff. I love the other features and shows and historical games but not enough to keep watching this crap show and the Herman pressers, etc.

It has taken Texas several sub par seasons to drop from the perenial #1 position to 2nd place to tOSU and slightly ahead of OU.

Much progress is needed on the field and in the W column to reverse the trendline.

That is the What and TH and CDC are responsible to provide the Why.

I live in Austin and ATT offers the Go Big pkg for the lower price on occasion($30 vs $60?) try logging in online a couple of times DTV to see what they offer and not sign up and see what offer you get from them.
ATT also has a very cheap DTV Now pkg for ATT mobile customers you can look at.

Another option is do the 7 day free trial, watch LHN this weekend and then see what they offer to get you not to cancel after free trial. retention dept etc

I already have DTV. Like I said, it's really the only option besides Uverse to get LHN here in the Chicago area, and Uverse has lousy picture quality.

Pecos, I have been considering the same thing. Does DirecTV Now really work?

Yes it works just fine for us.

Have used DTV Now for about 18 months and it has improved 3X since the beginning.
We have a place in Tulum Mexico and needed a TV streaming service to use there when we go stya there. We have a VPN and use DTV Now, ATT Internet, Amazon Prime and Netflix plus a bunch of TV apps to watch all the sports and TV we want. Crappy Sky TV in MX costs over $100/mo usd.

After 6 months I got used to DTV and Amazon Fire TV to stream it and cancelled ATT Uverse at our home. Was $300 bundle now $85 with DTV Now Go Big, ATT Internet, HBO, Amazon Prime and about a dozen TV channel apps that are free with DTV Now as cable provider. Have all the broadcast channels - ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX etc

About 6 months ago Cloud DVR was introduced and it works like a DVR and VOD for a bunch of Channels. I get all the sports channels I need including LHN, SECN, NFL Network, B1G network all the Fox Sports Networks, and 3-4 ESPN channels.

It works just fine after I figured out it was an app for smartphone or PC not a cable box. Takes some time to figure out but it does all we need and we can use it in Austin and Tulum so a big savings for us.
