Quite a few articles written in the past few days. Most of the best ones come from the "alternative media" but the topic is beginning to catch on even in the main stream media. Here's a few of the recent opeds, my summation, and some selected excerpts. I'll make a separate reply for each selected article.

    #1 http://katehon.com/article/back-roots-america-pre-civil-war-state

This short piece describes the transformation in the US from a decentralized government to a highly centralized government, and describes the Trump election as a last ditch effort to reverse the process. The author gives three primary rationales of how the government was able to wrestle power away from the states.

    A. Human Rights
    B. Environmental Policy
    C. Constant Conflict (War)

The final one third of the article is copied below.

So, along came somebody like Donald Trump, who is a classic kind of revolutionary figure. He is a reaction against all this transfer of power. Trump promised that he will undo all three of those instruments that the Federal Government used to steal power. He wants to cut the budget of the Environmental Protection Agency by one third; he is already undoing these regulations that make it impossible to mine coal and so on; as for human rights side he is stopping this whole transgender idea and giving much more power back to the states; and what the most important is that Trump is against this permanent war against Russia. This idea was impossible for the globalists.

If Trump succeeds, this means the end of this takeover of America by the bureaucrats and the return of America to its constitutional roots. Enormous amount of money went from the state to Washington, and when people have that money and power, they are not likely to give it back.

    That's what is happening now.

From 97% to 99% of American bureaucrats voted for Hillary. In states like Western Virginia, more than 70% voted for Trump. Therefore, America is now divided into two countries. That's why we have this pre-Civil War atmosphere. In the states, there is about 2/3 of the population against globalization, but in Washington everybody is pro-globalization. The power equation is what will now determine the outcome of this.

As president, Trump has very limited power because the bureaucracy is completely against him, and these people don't care about Constitution. Unfortunately, in this kind of struggle, there will be no truth, there will be a winner or loser. On Trump's side, there are the people who have guns and most of the military, on the other side there is the Deep State - the oligarchs and bureaucrats who have all the information and the media. And it will be interesting who will win.

Charles Hugh Smith describes the internal battle within the "deep state" and what it means for America. I've excerpted the last 30% of Smith's oped below.

The body count from Vault 7 has not yet been tallied, but it wouldn't surprise me if former President Obama and his team eventually end up as political casualties.Non-partisan observers are noting all this over-reach occurred on Obama's watch, and it hasn't gone unnoticed that one of Obama's last executive orders stripped away the last shreds of oversight of what could be "shared" (or invented) between the Security Agencies.

Indeed, the entire leadership of the Democratic Party seems to have placed all their chips on the increasingly unviable claim that the CIA is the squeaky clean defender of America.

Vault 7 is not just political theater--it highlights the core questions facing the nation: what is left to defend if civil liberties and democratically elected oversight have been reduced to Potemkin-village travesties?

If there are no limits on CIA powers and surveillance, then what is left of civil liberties and democracy? Answer: nothing.

The battle raging in the Deep State isn't just a bureaucratic battle--it's a war for the soul, identity and direction of the nation. Citizens who define America's interests as civil liberties and democracy should be deeply troubled by the Establishment's surrender of these in favor of a National Security State with essentially no limits.

Americans tasked with defending America's "interests" globally should be asking if a CIA/NSA et al. with unlimited power is detrimental to America's soft and hard power globally, and toxic to its influence.

The answer is obvious: a CIA with unlimited power and the backing of a corrupt Establishment and media is more than detrimental to America's soft and hard power globally--it is disastrous and potentially fatal to America's interests, standing and influence.

Those of us on the sidelines can only hope that the progressive wing of the Deep State, the rogue elements who see the terrible danger of an unlimited National Security State, will succeed in undermining the powerful political support for this toxic totalitarian regime.

    #3 https://www.theautomaticearth.com/2017/03/how-to-drain-the-deep-swamp/

The first part of the article describes the paranoia within the Deep State and the mind games used to get the public to buy in. He then shows how the Wikileaks revelations expose the Intel Agencies as frauds that cannot be trusted and in fact place the country and the world in greater danger. And finally, he ends by making suggestions Trump should follow. And here again I've excerpted the last third of the article.

All we need now is for Trump to figure out who his enemies are, and who his friends. He already knows the CIA is not his friend, but has he figured out yet that the whistleblowers are not his enemy? And has his crew? Kim Dotcom is right, Trump is in real danger, he’s been watched, and being watched, 24/7. Whether Obama ordered that or not is not very relevant. There are more urgent matters at hand.

And somewhere along the way he’s going to have to figure out that chasing women and children around the country and out of it is not just ugly, it’ll cost him too much sympathy too. But so far all protests come from the Democrats and their supporters, who have all been left voiceless and shapeless by the election and now see their Russian conspiracy narratives blown to smithereens too, so why wouldn’t he please his own voters for a bit longer?

Well, for one thing, because he has to start to realize he’s going to need very broad support, and soon, be a president for all Americans so to speak, to fend off the CIA et al, and in what may be the hardest thing to do, he needs to invoke transparency, explain to people exactly what he does, and why, to drain the deep swamp.

If he fails in all this, and for now the odds point in that direction, those who protest him today will feel validated, right, and winners. They will be tragically wrong. Because if Trump loses this, the CIA wins. And then we will all live in 1984 for as far into the future as we can see.

I know there’s a lot that’s not to like about Trump and Bannon and all those guys. However, look at it this way: they are the only ones who can keep the doors of the vault from slamming shut for the rest of our lives, leaving time for y’all to wake up and find a president who doesn’t seek to turn your friends into your enemies. At least you’ll still have that choice.

With present-day Washington, Democrat or Republican, there’s no such choice. They’re CIA, as are the media. Kim Dotcom tweeted this too today:

    #4 http://buchanan.org/blog/beltway-conspiracy-break-trump-126646

    It's a short article. Here's an excerpt.

The president has reason to be enraged. For what is afoot is a loose but broad conspiracy to break and bring him down, abort his populist agenda, and overturn the results of the 2016 election.

At its heart is the “deep state” — agents of the intel community, their media collaborators, and their amen corner in a Democratic party whose control of our permanent government is all but total.

At the heart of the case against Trump is what appears to be a Big Lie.

It is that Vladimir Putin and Russian intelligence hacked the DNC and John Podesta’s email account, then colluded with Trump’s friends or associates to systematically sabotage Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Therefore, Trump stole the election and is an illegitimate president. In this city, Trump is looked upon as a border-jumper, an illegal alien.

#5 The Awan Brotherhood, the Saga Deepens

This is the first video from Friday's Day 138 series by George Webb. It's difficult to jump right into the middle and understanding the complexity involved, but even without that background, the vastness of Washington's dysfunction, corruption and involvement in conspiracies is evident.

Makes one wonder if some version of a 9/11 conspiracy theory isn't true to some degree. That was the turning point where intelligence communities gained free reign.

I never put much stock in it, but now it doesn't seem so far-fetched U.S. intelligence and powers that be might have had a hand in it to expand their control without resistance.

I remember hearing Alex Jones over the last two decades rampage about Globalists, World Banks, NWO, etc and rolling my eyes like he was a paranoid kook.

Even back in the early 90's I'd come home from a night drinking on 6th Street, turn on public access TV for laughs, and he'd rant about the Globalist's intended takeover.

He definitely still has that kooky side, but thinking back a lot of those wild claims are turning out to be shockingly accurate all these years later.

I didn't vote for Trump in the primary. But with what I've seen so far from him makes me feel like what the hell was I thinking to not give this man my vote. After reading these articles, I really don't think at the time we understood the gravity of our situation if Hillary would have been elected. It very well could have been our last chance us the people to get our country back to where we have a voice. But it's still mindboggling how Obama got a second term. That's why I think he's the biggest con artist in our history.

The biggest con job in modern prez campaign history took place with BO winning his first term. Though it's by far the easier of the two victories to rationalize in regards to the pulse of the American public back then.

So yes, you're right winning the 2nd term was unbelievable since there was well documented proof he was full of sh^t in 2008. At the same time, he waited to fully crank the corruption up to overdrive until clearing the 2012 hurdle of election consequences.

However, the 2008 platform he initially ran on was the biggest load of deceit ever bought by the American public in my adult years at least.

Knowing what we know now about all his scandals, cover-ups, mass surveillance, refusing to enforce countless laws, etc...it's insane to recall his major selling point was unparalleled transparency and returning oversight back to the American public.

What a complete fraud and crock of dung all that turned out to be. Bad, bad man.

Have O'Keefes videos ever lead to real change? I personal like them. They are informative and are effective in exposing that certain things are going on. But I would have thought more would come from them besides O'Keefe being indicted for truth telling.

    Department of Justice spokesperson....

“These allegations are deeply concerning. Department policy prohibits misuse of government resources to advance personal interests. We are looking into this immediately and have referred this matter to the Inspector General as well.”
