Too bad he didn't do research before saying stupid incorrect stuff like this Watch - Beto O'Rourke to Black American: Illegal Immigrants Needed for Cotton Gin A black student asked Beta "My question is, do you support granting citizenship and American-paid benefits to illegal aliens who violated our country to come here, who fly their foreign flags here, who have citizenship in their countries and whose families did absolutely not build this country, while black people are subject to things that you explained before? You can answer yes or no, please." Beta's answer:"Many, many people built this country, first of all. And we are a country of many people … and I’m paraphrasing Congressman Lewis at this point, but he said something to the effect that each of us came to this country in a different ship. Some of us came here against our will, some of us immigrated here lawfully … some of us are showing up right now as we speak. They’re fleeing the deadliest countries in the planet today. The northern triangle countries of Central America … imagine how bad things have to be for you to scoop up that six-month-old daughter of yours and to walk 2,000 miles … to refuge in a country that is comprised of people from the world over. And yes, there are some people who did not follow our laws when they came here to be with their families or to work jobs and, in some cases, no one was willing to work in their communities. " In reading the information at link you see the old " do work Americans won't " is a complete fabrication. First of all H1A allows unlimited numbers of LEGAL immigrants to work in the agri field. He like most open boarders people insist that we need illegals for this work which is a flat out lie. The stats on who is actually working in the so called work Americans won't do fields is eye opening.Hint It ain't illegals I don't imagine his answer plays well with black Texans.
Ted needs to be calm, but he should be able to shred Beto to pieces in the debates. Just don't be a bully. I don't like Ted, but we need to put a stop to Beto. I can't imagine how his policies will stand up to any type of scrutiny. I doubt 50% of his fans even know what his policies are, his commercials are basicly kum-by-ya with zero content. By the way, my extremely white g-g grandparents and my dad and uncle (who were little boys at the time) picked cotton all the doo da day. It was not a task held exclusively for blacks.
Yes ... the language is being driven, again, by those who seek to cede their responsibility to self-govern ... My grand parents picked cotton by hand. I hauled cotton burrs... from the gin during the 70s in a truck my father bought and overhauled. Though the little town had a significant population of blacks, I don't recall a more than a couple black men working at the gin. Several hispanics ... but no blacks ... beaucoup white boys, like me. So ... when I use "cotton-picker" as a replacement expletive ... it has NOTHING to do with being racist. I grew-up saying that and most people I'd call a "cotton picker" have never seen a bowl of cotton in their life .... and most times, using the replacement expletive, isn't a slur toward any person at all. But don't let facts get in the way of a good emotional spool-up.
It’s pronounced bawls (like a calf) but I appreciate your recognition of the spelling for a football board Dang auto co wrecked It’s
