Would somebody send me an Energizer Bunny since this just keeps going and going. I had a birthday within the last month and all I got was a couple of gifts from my mom and my dad and a few cards from siblings and friends.

Highlander, I don't know what happened but [IMG] in the attempt to delete my double post regarding my sarcastic comment about actually owning a sword instead of just having a sig pic of a sword, I guess I deleted them both.

And to update, the situation still sits at one e-mail and one phone call. I've had other priorities for the last 6 weeks.

Son of a ***** that was one piece of work! I saw some cliff notes @ about the halfway point. Is anyone going to prune out the good stuff again? There is no way to devote enough time to fully read the entire thread!

And PO1D... Why didn't you just ask her out? The email thing and voicemail was just the worst idea ever!!!

Based on how many posts there were and the title of the thread and how people were giving good advice for date ideas, I thought by the end there was going to be a wedding announcement!!

    I am dissapointed.

My advice is to always have a plan in mind, and use it. Don't make it cheesy, like, "hey, let's go to Mickey D's". More like, "Hey, The Rolling Stones are in town. You want to go see them?" or, "Hey, you and your friend want to do a couple of shots?" "Can I buy you a Margarita or three?". "Do you ever eat food? How about Mexican food? How about lunch? What about now? Have you tried Guero's??".

Keep yourself in tune with the local concerts, and nice restaurants. Something fancy enough, she has to say, Wow, that sounds great! Good looking girls need dates more than ugly ones, so don't be afraid to hit on the best looking girl in the place. And, finally, every no leads to a yes. Grab your nads, and ask about 6 a night. One will say yes. Bingo. Fall in love at your own risk. LOL. Good luck. [IMG]

I'm not saying that you have to go 5-star on the first date. In fact, I strongly agree that you shouldn't. But Olive Garden? Good god man, pick a place with at least some amount of character. You may as well just go to Chili's, Flinger's, or Chotchkie's. Even if you aren't in Austin Freakin' Texas, there has to be something other than Olive Garden for a first date. Be sure to wear your "I'm really lame" t-shirt.
