Moon, it's not pc to say black cloud......am just kidding since I am a huge proponent of not cowtowing to bs political correctness....very unfortunate for Thomas since he has been fighting the establishment over his contract and then this.....Legion of Boom is fading....
He should have never stepped on that field without a new deal same as obj last season. Seattle should have just traded him now he will walk away free and they get nothing in exchange.
I love Earl and fell badly for him but flipping the Seattle sideline the finger, if he did when leaving the field, is a classless act that he will regret. It sends a terrible message to all of the kids and young players that have looked up to him.
It was the wrong thing to do, but perspective is always a good thing here. Did he assault anyone like Boykin did this week? Nope. Did he rape anyone, get suspended, or get a DUI? Nope. He shot someone the bird, not good, but compared to what happens every week in the NFL, this is pretty tame.
wadster, as I suspect you may agree, I hold Texas and ex Texas players to a higher standard. We’re not the Aggies and Manziel, or the Sooners and Mayfield. What Earl did does not reflect well on him or on us. I’m very disappointed.
