Really proud of Ariel. Mystics had a nice, balanced attack, but if you had to name an MVP in tonight's game, it would be Ariel, IMO.

Dang, the Phoenix-Seattle game is going to be just as exciting as the Washington-Atlanta one!

Just finished watching the game recording...totally agree with every post above. Ariel was insane tonight. So proud.

Bird with 4 3s in the last six and a half minutes.
    Who's the GOAT?

Seattle wins 94-84 to move to the finals vs Washington!
Bird with 14 pts in the fourth, including four 3s. Seattle outscored Phoenix 35-21 in the fourth.

She scored all of her points in the last six minutes of the quarter, most after Phoenix hit her in the facemask while tying her up at mid court. That seemed to light a fire under her.

Finals begin Friday at Seattle at 8 PM CST on ESPNews. Criminy, thought all the games would be on ESPN or ESPN2.

Wouldn’t be an Ariel highlight reel without her hitting the deck multiple times:

I think Ariel got two charging calls on Atlanta.

Looks like some were upset with ESPN's decision to use an app to provide coverage of the start of the Washington-Atlanta game five.

Easy enough to guess who UConn fans will be rooting for in the finals: 3 UConn exes playing for Seattle: Sue Bird, Breanna Stewart and Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis.

Only two Big 12 players left in the playoffs and they are on opposite teams: Ariel at Washington and Courtney Paris at Seattle.

Guess it's also pretty easy to guess who Texas fans will be rooting for. :smile1:

Huh, someone is wrong here. AAS TV schedule shows WNBA game on ESPN2. Spectrum guide shows the game on ESPNews with SMU-TCU FB game on at ESPN2.

Mystics just out of sync the whole game. Ariel was the only bright spot.

Yeah, we knew that EDD was not going to score 30 plus. Tolliver and Cloud really need to step up. Cloud did okay but needs to contribute more. Tolliver just was off tonight. Couldn't believe how many careless passes and TOs the Mystics had tonight.

Ariel was outstanding when she was on the court. Have to believe she would have gotten at least 30 if she hadn't had to sit with foul trouble. I don't think you can call her a rookie anymore.

Well, Sunday is another day and a chance to bounce back.

Almost time for game two. Looking forward to the Mystics playing better than they did in game one.

Ariel had a poor shooting first half (2-9) for five pts but her teammates are doing better. EDD & Tolliver doing better with 12 and 9 pts, respectively.

Mystics up 40-36 at the half with two FGs in the last 30 seconds while Bird and Stewart each missed a FG, although Stewart's was a half court heave.

Washington falls into an 0-2 hole after losing the ball with a few seconds left in the game while down one. Seattle pulls out the 75-73 win after Clark makes one of two FTs.

Ariel had a poor shooting game, going 4-15 from the field, including 0-3 from BTA. She did hit 7-8 from the FT line to end up with 15 pts.

Backs are up against the wall in game three for Washington. They need a win to extend the series. At least they will be at home for the next two games.

Pretty sweet off season job for Kristi. Guess she is getting ready to transition from playing in the near future, especially if this works out.
