Plan is simple, beat blOwU again. There is no way you keep a Texas team out of the playoffs if they beat blOwU twice and if Notre Dame loses.

The Dallas News is not on the Committee. Neither is Heather Dinsch. The bye week offers time to watch other games across other conferences. I'm not impressed. A Big 12 winner, that wins out has as much if not more right to the 4 team playoff than anyone. Ohio State, Clemson records speak to the weakness of their conference - rather then their overwhelming strength.

While I don't agree with their conclusion, TH at this point has won as many ou games as Charlie.
Winning will take care of the press.

Crazy that we held this kids commitment in the 2018 class for a long time. He's a offensive pinball and scary good.

 Before the season started, how many of us would have considered this as wishful thinking - and now it's potentially within reach!

Good point. It affects recruiting. That's why this matters.

Agreed. UT winning out will get us in although it would be nice to have a couple of "never in doubt" games over the last few weeks.

But as long as UT wins 3-4 more, TH has completely changed the direction of the program in two years. 10 wins puts us back in the drivers seat for recruiting and completely changes the "buy in" and enthusiasm level of the players.

    Awesome!!

I'd say he and the players did it in one year plus one game.

I posted a screen shot last week where they both had Texas at #5. They were very bullish on Texas. I would assume they move us up.

Surprised by the tempered expectations at this juncture, like 11-2 and a very good bowl game.

I aim high. I’m now shooting for 14-1.

    You heard it here first.

Well, look at this way: After the annual Maryland debacle and the Tulsa struggle, what were the odds of our being 6-1 on Mickey Mantle’s birthday?

    Joe Fan,

Your video clip looks like what tOSUs DBs were like against Purdue yesterday.

Big 10 could easily get left out this year. With tOSU losing, lots of ways all teams have 2 losses or more. Texas wins out they are in. Same applies for OU and probably WVU. This year, they aren't going to take a 1 loss SEC team that doesn't even play in the CCG. Only Bama gets that exception so it's best for the Big12 if Bama goes undefeated and beats LSU. If they beat Georgia, that leaves everyone but Bama with 2 losses. I could easily see Bama, Clemson, ND (undefeated or 1 loss), and Big 12 (1 loss). Course no one may come out of the Big 12 with one loss. Top 3 teams all have several tough games left plus the CCG. I think that game will cost the Big 12 more than it helps.

I think Notre Dame loses to FSU and or USC. Both are playing much better.

Didn’t USC just lose to Utah?

Wow, if USC beats the Domers, that would be a major SOS coup for the Longhorns.

" #2 Ohio State is not losing at Purdue "

Don't feel bad, I don't think anyone sober on this board picked an upset by Purdue....

And to think we almost had Rondale Moore all to ourselves. If only his HS coach had not made that move at that time. He is so strong for a smaller person. And can change direction about as well as anyone

I would absolutely love for the attendance of this worthless piece of **** game to be a few hundred and for the television audience to be less than that of the Sam Houston State playoff game.

Bowelsby's brain fart needs to go away and take that cretin with it.
