According to the a/p poll, didn't drop after the loss......I know, way too pie-in-the-sky after consecutive losses.....
A couple of more loses, and we'll be in the Top 10, or maybe even the Top 5! (Aggie Logic at work here.)
I mean, losing by a point to a 1-loss team is about what you'd expect of a #15 team, so we basically showed on Saturday that #15 was at least approximately right.
Well maybe, but we wouldn't be if ISU had been able to play their 1st game, and we'll find out this Saturday if a 5-4 team is better.
The low bar is our recent records that all look like 6-6 or so. Being a bit cheered by 6-3 and a national rank is a bit weak, but this thread is not lowering any bar.
To stay in the top 20 we need to win out. It will take a big turnaround by our defense to get this done.
Not disagreeing with being 6-3. Saying I thought the whole thread was a joke about being the best 6-3 team, as if that is something to brag about.
The difference is that I took Zucker's post to be firmly tongue in cheek. The only thing firm with aggy is in their pants when meeting the new ewe on campus.
Not to get abused further, but I was trying to see the positives in our record....but am not encouraged by our two game losing streak.....I'm relatively new, so am happy to be educated by the veterans when I'm getting "Aggy-like".....
I mean....when was the last time we were 6-3? Looks like 2013 when we were 7-2, so even better than 6-3
I was giving you the benefit of the doubt that your thread was just a joke. But, here is something else that is "Aggy-Like": horn fans posters calling another horn fans poster aggy-like Why? Well, there used to be a time around here when it was fun for someone to link a Tex-Ags thread where there would be a battle of "Old Army" vs. "New Army", or the "2%ers" as "Old Army" would call them. So for someone to do that here is...ironic.
Famous words by Winston, said about the Japanese before he beat them at the the famous naval battle of Waterloo, in the year 1812.
