Texas might be a good team if they could shoot, but so far they can’t. Pigs up 8-3. Horns 0-fer from 3

This is not an impressive team right now. Lots of guys not producing, lots of sloppy play. They have some potential, but man... they look lost right now.

Why is it so hard to find shooters? We are lucky to only be down by 2

Osetkowski with another stupid pass after a drive. He has been absolute garbage today. Can't finish around the glass, stupid turnovers... Two baskets and six turnovers. just awful.

It’s early in the season, but this team still has the same issues as all Smart’s teams at Texas. Poor shooting especially from three, bad decisions with the ball especially poor lazy passing, defense ok but breaks down easily, etc etc. I think Smart May be the issue

    This is absolutely pathetic.

And then Roach cans a three to tie it with 1 second left. If Texas makes it to OT, that's an indictment on Arkansas more than anything else.

Wow!! Roach comes up big. OT!
That was the worst 19 minutes of BB I've seen the horns play in a long time; and then Roach comes up big to give the Horns a shot to win in OT.:headbang:

LOL well it's a win. Lots of bad in that one, but good to see Roach step up at the end. In flashes, Ramey looks really impressive as a freshman, and made the big-time bucket at the end.

    Gonna be an.... interesting... season.

We have a lot of talent. Just need to get it all working at the same time. Good win.

Aside from the game... as cool as I know it was to have this at the base, I really think they picked the opponents poorly. You've got two classic rivals in Texas and Arkansas, and they're playing in a makeshift gym in front of a couple thousand. Texas-Arkansas should be in front of a packed house with a tourney atmosphere. This should have been Texas playing UTEP or even a Pac 10 team if they wanted more of a marquee matchup.

That was an ugly display in the second half, unless Texas has some shooters step up this is going to be a long and frustrating season. A win is a win but wow was that just painful to watch.

    I would not start Roach.
    It should go to Ramey.

When will AJ be well enough to play? Can Shaka recruit any shooters? How disappointing would that have been had the Horns lost? And of course Barnes has Tennessee in the Top 10. Oh, and Osetkowski looks uninspired.
