Anyone else hear about the Red Sox reliever using pine tar last night?

Was that when everyone was at the mound and he had to throw? I didn't catch what that was about

Apparently it was the pitcher after him. Saw someone post on Facebook about it.

I believe the ALCS is the de facto WS this year. Also, I think BOSOX are going to be very tough to beat. Before the series, I thought they had a slight edge.

I didn't see the end last night but how did Osuna implode like that?

Nothing he could do. Red Sox have had all the momentum since April...

Inside pitches which hit batters was one problem of his.

The Astros took 2 out of 3 from the Red Sox at the end of the season and probably should have swept them. I was following online in a sooner had 2 outs at look like before inexplicably imploding.

Red Sox batters are en fuego. Except for Verlander, they are working our pitching staff over.

sad to see it end but a helluva 2 year run.....205 wins, World Series Ring, AL pennant and 2 division titles................Red Sox have a great team and wanted it just a bit more much like us last year..............hopefully this stings enough for the team to get its "mojo" back.............Go Astros!

Yeah we have to face facts - they out hit us and out pitched us. In this series, they were clearly the better team. I guess now I can concentrate my fandom on the Longhorns.

yeah, sometimes there's nothing you can do. when the #9 hitter becomes Paul Bunyon, you just gotta appreciate overall.

    2012: 2nd
    2016: 2nd
    2017: 5th
    2018: 2nd

I have to admit that I am surprised he finished that high in the balloting. He had a good season but was not what I would have considered to be a Cy Young caliber pitcher across the season...

That being said...I still want him pitching FOR the Astros and not AGAINST them...

This is just some vintage 1980s video I had nowhere to put
    Cone vs. Pedro
There was an Astros Game once vs Stll where somehow relief pitcher Danny Darwin got to 1B. It ended with Guerrero punching Darwin in the face.
