Yeah, a show it will be because the Dems still don't have enough power so they will have to resort to hatred and sexual assault charges. Trump can nominate judges without recourse from the House right? He can veto legislation. So it will just be accusation after accusation...

Gridlock partially though, right? Gridlock for new laws. But much more activity on investigations into the President with scandals, real or manufactured, hitting the headlines even more. Then, similar activity on judicial appointments.

Probably will see more foreign policy forays too. Hopefully, more talks and less bombings.

    and so it begins.....

House Democrats’ first order of business in the new Congress will be targeting President Trump’s tax returns, setting the confrontational tone of the lower chamber.

The first bill, called House Resolution 1 (H.R. 1), indicates the Democrats’ inclination to resist Trump not only in House committees, where a number of investigations will be launched in January, but also by introducing legislation that directly involves the president.

The measure would mandate presidents to disclose their tax returns as part of a package that Democrats say would improve government and transparency of elected officials.

Dems target Trump tax returns in first bill under new House majority

Of course, any bills have no chance of becoming law with the Senate in Repub hands and Trump with veto power.

I feel like if this isn't a 50-page law where page 10-40 are just pages and pages filled with ipsum lorum filler text, someone will have wasted a whole lot of time.

The Democrats would only write this bill to rile up people against Trump. If they controlled both branches of Leg they wouldn't put this forward. They don't really want more transparency. Remember Obama and all his personal documents they hid? I think they should pass it though. To be President you should expose your whole life or at least past age 25 or 30. If we did that maybe nobody would vote at all.
