He isn't that good and I'm tired of hearing he is. We have one of the worst qb's in the conference. Nice season considering

Congratulations to the Longhorns. They had a fine season, and not many picked them to be in the CCG. ou (argh, this is hard to say) was the best team today. The Horns played hard, with heart, and gave it everything they had.

I think the Horns will make it to the top next year. We should be better at almost every position, depending on who stays and who goes to the nfl.

In fairness to Sam, the o-line looked more like 2017 version than 2018. Even with calls going against them, the mistakes they made that were within their control ( looking at you Herman) was the determining factor. This was a winnable game that Texas gave away. I hate to admit it but Murray with his speed and quickness and passing ability is the real deal. I think he is better than Vick and if the dirt burglars get in he will give bama fits. Like Vick vs. free shoes part two.

I agree wholeheartedly! Horns gave it their all and OUs defense actually stepped up today. Texas will go to a bowl and try to win it for some good momentum going into 2019!

Gotta strongly disagree. He played fairly well. No turnovers until the last minute. Had the LJH PI been called, the complexion of the game might have been different.

We got beat. I don't think there's anything wrong with the game. We had some really bad brain farts and penalties that put us behind the 8-ball, yet still kept it competitive.

OU has more weapons than we do and took advantage of it. For a team that lost to .500-ish teams like Maryland and OK State, I think we played about as well as we could today. OU made adjustments from 10/6 and although I think we did too, theirs were more effective on the defensive side of the ball.

I'd take him. He's like a rich man's Blake Bell. I thought ya'll should have run more QB run and zone read. Get the safeties involved and the LB's on their front toes. Maybe the tender shoulder impacted that.

All on the offense. 40 points should have been minimum on that defense.

Not sure what you do about the officiating. It seems bad everywhere. There was controversy in the Pac 12 last night and the SEC is as bad as they come. And that hold on the kick off was very picky. It's usually not called when you keep your hands inside like that.

Yeah Herman needs to rein in the mental part of the game. I think he got buy-in for the offensive and defensive systems we were going to run, but he still doesn't have the "brains" for a big portion of the team in terms of penalties, mindfulness, etc. Once he has that, we pull out these close games and even start getting into CFP territory on talent and scheming alone.

He missed a few wide open receivers for TD's. He didn't throw as well, or see the field as well today. His shoulder has not been right since the injury. I think Sam played well considering he's been playing hurt the last three weeks.

Also the refs missed an ou DB holding CJ on a big play that would have kept us driving into ou's end of the field. They make that call and who knows.

Our defense actually played well today. Held them to 35 points (ou got 2 on the safety) and I thought we would win if we held ou under 40.

Ou is the best team this year. Their qb will finish one or two for the Heisman. They have the best offense in college ball. They won because today was their day. This loss is not Sam's fault, or Boyd's fault or the coaches fault. Today was ou's day.

Our day is coming, and its not far off. The trajectory is going way up.

And except for a few really obvious non-calls and bad calls he did it in a way that won’t detract from oustillsux. B-I-G 12. B-I-G 12. No doesn’t work for me. F-ousux.

Officiating and penalties. Folks, we were toe to toe with a team that will be in there playoffs, and could possibly win that sucker. I agree, that we may not be elite yet, but we are progressing and yes, Our QB is the face of our team. I for one, am excited about the direction of the team, and close on another top recruiting class, we will be there soon. This is year 2 folks, and some are complaining about coaching. Get real.

OU held on their last kick return after the safety. Yelled at the wife on the no call. Course they call it on us. I don't know how more coaches don't go Woody Hayes on the refs and punch someone. At least in base ball you can kick dirt on their feet.

Sam did the ol’ stare down the receiver on last interception. The lack of PI call cost us momentum

Gameday guys were right about one thing; we need to get much more dynamic on offense with more playmakers.

We had guys open. Sam didn't see the field well against Kansas and he didn't today. Threw into triple coverage to LJH one time when Duverney is wide open down the middle. The plays were there, we didn't make them. I also felt we abandoned the run too much today. Would have like to run more. OU actually won the TOP. Should not happen.

I dont care how many penalties there were. OU is the worst power 5 conference defense in the country.

Ehlinger should have been able to score at will against that POS defense

That was a bad read on his part for sure. Never even looked for Duvernay even though he had time. But we have 3 receivers we routinely get the ball to. ou had like 100 it seemed like. We have to get more dynamic, trustworthy playmakers on the field.

Oh, and again a game-changing running back. Ingram is good and will get better, but we need elite and we just don't have it.

23-36, 349 YDS, 2 TD, 1 INT 2 rushing TDs; our best rusher; one TD called back for penalty

What we actually need is a top notch running back, or else an OL that lets the ones we have look better.
