Horns go down to BYU, 25-23; 25-23 & 25-21. Second year in a row that Texas has not been able to get past the Elite Eight. Great season with three frosh starters most of the season and four the last part of the season and the NCAAs. Just ran into a team that was slightly better at closing out the game; comes from experience.
A very good season Ladies that just ended too soon. Wasn't nearly our best game but easily could have been a sweep the other way. But here at Texas we don't make excuses. Thank you Seniors its been a great 4 years.
Great effort yesterday. BYU certainly had to earn it. Their back row attack was amazing. My only complaint is we did not take enough advantage of Butler and Johnson in the middle for short sets. I only remember a couple. As others have said, young team. Come back strong in '19. Hook 'em!
Katarina Luketec is no longer listed on the volleyball roster on the texassports.com website? I think we can now assume she is no longer on the team? Considering we only lost 2 seniors off this years team and the fact we have 2 top ten hitters arriving with the 2019 recruiting class, plus Coach Elliott redshirted Asjia O'Neal I'm not sure when Katarina would have gotten any playing time.
