So childish. Stay at the high school level until you grow up some.

UNT was very-well coached with about 1/10 the talent Texas has.. You know, the typical type of team that gives us problems... well-coached.

Are all the grammatical errors in this paragraph computer generated or is this just how you talk?

Not an English professor. Actually a HS drop-out. I just wasn't able to understand what you wrote. One huge paragraph without a single period or comma. In fact if you would be so kind, please help me understand this part of the 11 line sentence.

"there not there name coming in was little bucket all three of them because they could shot pull up in people eye that the players they are let them be that stop getting top dollar names if you can't keep them"

Could use a little help in understanding that part.

    Geewago--I believe what Thatguy is saying in the sentence you highlighted is the following;
"Chaz's name in highschool was "little bucket". We recruited all three players (Chaz, Rellah and Destiny) because they could shoot pull-ups. We need to let the players be who they are. We are going to stop getting top dollar names if they continue to transfer."

For context to my post, here's a little background about my family. A couple of members of my family and extended family have dyslexia. About 15-20 years ago, dyslexia wasn't widely diagnosed by the medical community and went untreated. People with severe dsylexia were frequently thought of as low IQ and sent to remedial classes. In reality, the majority of people with dyslexia are bright, brilliant and have creative minds. Some of the most famous people who struggled with dyslexia are Charles Schwab, Steven Spielberg, Walt Disney, Tom Cruise and Richard Branson.

My son has dyslexia. Thankfully, we caught it when he was in 2nd grade and he has had the assistance of a specialist who has helped him with decoding. He's now in 8th grade and is reading at an 11th grade level. Although he has improved, writing stories and reports are still challenging for him. He occasionally has trouble with spelling and grammer.

I don't know Thatguy and I don't know if he has dyslexia or dysgraphia. However, I welcome his views on HFs and hope he continues to post his opinions regardless of spelling and grammatical errors.

Watching the game on LHN last night, Nell Fortner (she's awesome, is there not a better commentator in women's basketball) was discussing Chasity Patterson's transfer without ascribing any reason for the transfer.

Immediately after discussing her transfer, Fortner talked about there needs to be a commitment to play defense in order to get into the game. Throughout the game she praised Joanne Allen-Taylor's and Audrey Warren's commitment to defense, in which both came off the bench before Patterson, and I thought perhaps Patterson was last off the bench because her lack of defense. This is just one man's thoughts.

Maybe. But Chaz played really good defense when she was in the game.

I’m hearing Florida State, Mississippi State, and Kentucky are recruiting Chasity. I’m guessing we will hear where she ends up soon, if she wants to make the second semester.

Seems to me that Freshmen play when they prove they are ready to play for the team they are on and the coach they are with.

Imani, Ariel, Brooke did when they got here and now Charli and Audrey. Chas and Destiny didn’t. Neither did Lashann as a freshman. Who knows what is happening behind the scenes. We got Jatarie because she didn’t get time at SC and we are better for it. Someone will benefit from Chas transferring. I sincerely doubt Aston would have let a top recruit go unless it was unavoidable or at least what was best for all parties involved.

Sug is far from lazy. She’s a19 year old kid, working her butt off. Criticize her play all you want, but don’t attack her character.

I've never criticized her character. And I've also seen her work her butt off. But in that exhibition game she was lazy as she didn't hustle for lose balls and was careless with the ball, another example of being lazy.

I never criticize our players character and have criticized other posters on the FB board for attacking some of our players, but I didn't say anything I wouldn't be afraid of saying to a players, or their parents face. When for most students earning an athletic scholarship and playing anything for the University of Texas is nothing but a dream it's very disheartening top see scholarship players play like they don't deserve it.

Chaz was not coached up at all. Not okay not to be coached up AND not play. Unfortunate but not surprised.

I have no idea what Hornzupp means by Chaz not being coached up. What do you mean? Have you been in practices? Did someone on the inside tell you that? Just wondering what you mean.

    JoeD..
Also confused by “coached up” comment...seemed like Coach A was always irritated with/disappointed in Chaz...just an observation..seemed to me Chaz worked very hard, and tried to do what she was told..I wish she had stayed, especially with the loss of Lashann..but, oh, well...:brickwall:

Love me some Audrey Warren. Living proof of a current Longhorn freshman being rewarded for their preparation and hard work!
