I also love the narrative coming from Aggy and the rest of the SEC that Georgia will blowout the Horns. Yep - we got no chance. This is the same Charlie Strong team that played Arkansas in the Texas Bowl. I say we do not even bother showing up.

Line is now TX+13 O/U 58. People are betting more on GA than TX. Sam and the rest on the Horns are getting healthy. I don't think that GA will be up for this game.

Yeah, I don't have the same feeling I did when we played Nebraska. I bet a weeks paycheck vs an NU coworker because I just felt we were playing that well at that time. I don't feel that way in this game. I suppose anything can happen, but as schizo as this team is I have no idea who will show up.

If I were a betting man, which I'm not for clear reasons, 13 points would be hard to not take.

We can keep games close against pretty much anybody, whether they are really good or really bad, so nearly 2 touchdowns seems a bit much.

If we can stop the run game and our o-line plays well we can definitely win this. Essentially it's who wins in the trenches. We usually show up to the big games and this should be no different.

I’d definitely take Texas and the points. Wish I could get to Vegas. (Not sure that I trust the online sites.)

To lose the bet, Texas and Herman would have to break trend and lose by more points then Texas has done (if I am not mistaken) in any game since he took the job. It could happen, but I don’t think that it will.

I don't know who is going to win, but our 19 recruiting class rank could jump 2 or 3 positions if we win the Sugar Bowl! Several major 5 stars will be heavily swayed with a win on Jan 1st. Those that won't sign early. TH and TO need to go with a 4 man front and key on stopping the run. If we can get a push on the line of scrimmage with our front 7 we should have a great chance to win. I do worry about our depth late in this game. I think defending the run will be our biggest key.

Completely agree AC. We may have played a front line as stout in OU but I’m not certain of that. It IS a great opportunity for the entire program. We bring our A+ game and hang around till mid way thru 4th qtr I say we win. In fact, I say if we do not get blown out by the 4th qtr - we win. I think that if that happens (keeping it close) our boys will be so fired up we won’t accept a loss.

The D-line needs to show up. They didn’t seem to be very effective on 12/1. I really felt bad for Hager but boy was he manhandled. This game might be their last audition for the NFL, (excluding Omenihu, who I assume will be invited to some post-season allstar games) before the draft.

Uh, I guess it hasn't started then. Germany has yet to bomb Pearl Harbor. Are they planning something we should know about? :yikes:

The line slid some, to +10.5.
Might just keep going to +7-8 by kickoff

Serious question, who has Georgia beaten this season? OOC, I see Austin Peay, Middle Tennessee, U-Mass, and Georgia Tech. They played Alabama close, but didn’t win, so I guess they have a signature loss? But then again, who have the Bammers beaten this year? Can anyone name a signature SEC OOC win this season? We never know how good that conference is until bowl season, when they finally quit playing powder puffs and each other. Last year they ended up with a losing bowl record (5-6). I have a feeling OU and Texas might just surprise some folks this bowl season…
