RC on the Committee for the next 3 seasons; Committee has not decided if he has to recuse himself whenever aggy is discussed.
I always kind of enjoyed RC even though he coached aggy. Never saw him throw horns down like Houston Nutt or Brett Bielama
RC is and always has been good people. When John Mackovic's team quit against A&M, I called his office the following Monday to congratulate him and apologize for "my team" quitting. His secretary asked me to hold, and in less than a minute, RC picked up the phone. We talked for 35-45 minutes about the game, his family, he brought up the probation and discussed it at length, and I inquired how his brother MB was doing. Always friendly. approachable, and just a good ol boy. RC was also great at "kidnapping" future players, Bubba Bean and Johnny Hector in particular. RC could rival Scott Hill in that area, but Scott was the undisputed king of getting the media (particularly Dallas Times Herald) to report false information.
