Hey, someone who actually understands economics. Good to see.

Hopefully he also knows the financing debt is also a tax and the monetary inflation used to pay off that debt is a huge tax. Reduce those 2 taxes and then we will be going somewhere.

He's right, but it's also exhibit #45,873 of how pretty much all political cartoons are useless.

Steny Hoyer on Cavuto just now saying that Trump proposing a bill and that's that, agree to it or no opening of government, is not how you negotiate. Hey, Steny, isn't that what Obama, Pelosi, et al, did with Obamacare?

Does Hoyer listen? POTUS has said over and over he would negotiate.

It is like the Dems keep saying a barrier alone isn't the answer.
?????? Trump has proposed use of many technologies and extra agents and judges.
    Dems are liars and insane.

Nah that can't be it. Trump did something good??
The Trump haters on here claim Trump hasn't done anything to improve the country.
Who you going to believe? Your lying eyes or Trump haters?

The fact that Trump invited them to the WH to negotiate and they declined to attend means nothing to him. Everything in the world is Trump's fault.

Hoyer, Pelosi, Schumer. All in Congress for over 30 years, but all the country's problems are from Trump's 2 years.

SH.... setting the “standard” by believing a false story from a biased source, then using the false story to criticize people that he has zero knowledge about. That is some standard. Nice job.

Real unemployment rate in US. Check it out.

And I don’t “ignore” anything. I also don’t accept everything that Congress, Agency or the President says as truth either.

WSJ regularly reports both unemployment rates. They are generally always in lock step with one another. So, in one sense it doesn’t matter which one you look at. I can’t believe that article missed the bigger issue: labor participation rate. Neither method for unemployment accounts for ups and downs in labor participation rate. Thus, people not working due to disability, laziness, school, retirement, food stamps, living at parent’s house, etc are not counted in either unemployment rate.

You do understand that Trump invited all the Dems but Pelosi and Shumer, right? Would you think Obama was genuinely interested in negotiation if invited all R's but Boehner and McConnell during the ACA? Think the R's would have shown up?

I jumped too fast. We should all feel better that in the history of the West Mall, I'm the only one to ever jump too fast, aside from bystander. At least, we are the only one to own up to it.

If someone admits that he jumped too fast or otherwise got something wrong, you shouldn't bust his balls for it. It's much easier for people to admit that they got something wrong if the others who happened to guess right in the moment can act like adults about it. Remember, nobody's cock size is based on any of this.

Thankfully, he gave another of his patented, passive-aggressive mea culpas acknowledging his mistake (i.e. I'm wrong again but so and so is more wrong). Therefore, we don't have to feel guilty about pointing out that he not only made the mistake, but then criticized parents he has never had contact with for causing the problem.

Yes, I do. I didn't say he invited them. He invited a group of House Dems he thought he could negotiate with and, frankly, talk reasonably with. Pelosi and Schumer have said they won't negotiate until the government is open. You know damn good and well they won't negotiate if that were to happen. Those Dems didn't show.

As to Obama, give me a break. They showed the ACA down America's throat with lies. Pelosi's famous speech of how the bill can be read after if it is passed. Please, throwing Obama's name in here does nothing to change any of this. He was, and is, a piece of crap.

That might be fine IF the "jumping too fast" went both ways - it only flows one way.

That's a waste of time unless he can get about 20 Democrats to back a compromise AND sign a discharge petition to bring it to the bill to the floor. That's not likely to happen, because a discharge petition basically nullifies the leadership and puts those members on the leadership's **** list for life.

Let's say for discussion that all the stuff Longest posted, No doubt gleefully, is true
    Is it relevant?

    Longest
explain please how a former student charged with rape has any bearing on what happened at the Lincoln Memorial?
Explain how any of what you posted changes what happened.
It looks like you are trying to say that because a former student is charged with rape or because a few maybe Covington students cat called a passing girl that justifies that black racist group harrassing the group of kids waiting for the bus Or the drum beater wading into the group and then getting into his face with drumsticks.
Does it IYO justify the vilification of these kids by the media pols and celebrities, calling for their death?

Wouldn't any discussion on this be beneficial? is it more important to stay off the leader's chitlist than to move discussion forward?

Actually I think you answered my question in another thread
This "The problem is that the far Left will launch a primary bid against anyone who votes to make a deal with Trump on the wall.
    makes sense, sad but sense
