Oklahoma sure has fallen far, and I don't think I'm remotely sorry. :D

I would love to see Audrey get some minutes. TCU is a team I think Audrey could score against. <sigh>

I expect a lot from Joyner: elite scorer and rebounder, lockdown defender.
She is 3-6 from the field, 6 pts, 2 rebs, 2 assists, one steal.

    Defense not bad.
    But need some offense.
Would like to see J.Holmes make better decision's with the ball in her hand.

Woohoo! Horns win!! 66-64!! TCU couldn't get that shot off in time. Whew! Now I just hope that Fox actually shows the late game.

A win is a win but Texas is obviously going to have to play better against ISU.

Lots of anxious moments; players never lost their poise or composure tonight.

My strategy of getting Jordan Moore in foul trouble was the difference on defense.

I knew we'd have trouble containing Okonkwo; think she's a senior (so good riddance, hopefully). I knew Ray would bounce back from her 1 point scoring performance on Tuesday.

Danni was so hot early; hated that she picked up that second foul midway through the 2nd quarter.

Destiny looks so tentative; it's hard to win without her offensive contribution.

Once again, Jada Underwood was the unsung hero for her offense. Hope she has no concussion.

Has a Texas-TCU game this season ever been anything but ugly?

    Okay, the semis are set.
Baylor vs KSU at 2 PM on FS1
    and
ISU vs Texas at 4:30 PM on FS1,
if a rodeo or softball or baseball or some HS game doesn't shove the game off the air. :rolleyes1:

I may be overlooking it but I can't find the Texas Press conference. Any one else find it?

Pebley is certainly a competitive coach and it was evident that this loss stung. It's validating that she emphasized the physicality of the Texas TCU game and how well we defended Jodan Moore. IMO, Pebley has the TCU program going in the right direction.

That was a nail biter. Neither team created too much of a lead with the lead change going back and forth and several ties. We shot 44% and they shot 35%. Each had 11 turnovers. Considering Danni had 20, Sug had 15 and White had 14 you would think we would have won easily.

Here’s the problem - TCU out rebounded us including killing us on offensive rebounds (18-11). And their 9 threes kept them in the game while our three point game seems to have dried up with neither Destiny nor Sug even attempting one much less making one.

ISU shoots the three very well - always has. We either need to match it or limit it and for the love of God out rebound them.

I had a lot of the same thoughts you noted. Having 11 turnovers is something I'll take every time.

But, a team often times has to find different ways to win ball games. We did that last night.

TCU was in desperation mode last night, fighting for the NCAA tournament lives. Having to beat them twice in like 5 days was never going to be easy; going 2-0 was the best case scenario, and they got it done.

The team will have to do it without Jada Underwood. It was reported on the Fox Sports Broadcast of the Baylor vs KSU game that Jada is out on concussion protocol.

That’s unfortunate timing. Jada was a solid contributor for the past few games. She may have been playing her best ball of the season.

Here we go! Audrey starting in place of Jada so I’m assuming Jada Must have a concussion injury.

At some point, there HAS to be a different defense implemented. :confused2:
