We play tentatively... Scared of making a mistake and getting caught by the revolving door at the scorer's table. There's NO continuity unless we can get in transition and even that is difficult to establish with all the jerking in and out. I get using the bench in an attempt to wear down the opponent and keep legs fresh, but the revolving door is not the way.

Notre Dame's defeat by unranked North Carolina confirms what many have been saying: No contender is unbeatable this year; the national championship is wide open. I don't think Texas will go to Final Four Land; but the Notre Dame loss shows we certainly have the potential to beat Baylor. It will have to be a night when everybody is hitting their shots, and we really haven't had one like that all season. Let's hope we're due.

With Sedona and Charli in the lineup next season, I hope our players continue to work on making good entry passes to the post.

Don't see it, and we wouldn't deserve it, without winning out our remaining games except Baylor, and getting into finals of Big 12 Tournament. And really, we probably would need to beat Baylor, too.

It's very doubtful, but if things fall just right....I think we have a very good chance of winning one of the next two games and getting to the finals of the Big 12 tournament.

If we get into the top 16 and are able to host, I would certainly not turn up my nose at it. Simply because the team would have done enough to meet the metrics to get selected. Good enough for me.

Erin Grant has been let go from the Texas Tech coaching staff. Very odd.

I agree, that is very strange about Erin Grant being let go. Didn't say anything about her accepting a different job? I could see her leaving for that.

I was curious what Del Conte might be tweeting about the team. Find it very odd that there have only been two tweets in 4 days, considering the team qualified for the tournament. I only counted 3 tweets for all of March, to date, while there are numerous tweets promoting multiple other sports teams. It is whatever it is, but I find it odd.

Sure hope folks remember Erin Grant. Four consecutive state championships at Mansfield in the early 2000’s. My daughters AAU team beat her team the Arlington Golden Eagles for the 14U Southwest Region Championship. So we got to see her play a lot over her AAU and high school years. She went on to a wonderful career at Texas Tech. Then was an assistant at UTA with Samantha Morrow. So going back to TTech was probably a win for her. I always loved her calm demeanor and leadership......the consummate point guard. With a new coach at Tech, sometimes there is not a good fit. I hope she has good coaching choices in the future.

Good sign she's looking to come back and not just graduate and leave.
