Horns make a trek down to San Antonio for a midweek game with Incarnate Word Tuesday at Wolff Stadium, their first visit to the Alamo City since 2008.

No. 13 Baseball preview: at Incarnate Word - University of Texas Athletics

This is one of several midweek road trips this season that includes games in Houston, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi that Texas has added to its schedule both to draw in fans in that area for a game and presumably also for recruiting.

I'm embarrassed. We can't hit against Incarnate Word? Four hits!

I drove down to SA and witnessed it myself. Yes, 4 hits.

I was there last night, and this morning I'm STILL amazed that ball Masen hit in the 9th didn't get out of the yard. When he hit it my only thought was which one of the kids behind the wall was going to catch it.

He squared that baseball up about as perfectly as you can and it just died out in left field.

Maybe we are not good on the road?

Living in SA, I was there also.

Seemed to me the Horns were trying too hard for the long ball rather than well placed drives out of the infield.

The two runs were from long sacrifice flies with Horns on 3rd; runners barely got to the plate in time. Scored a run each, but left the other bases empty.

    Oh, well, **** happens.

b/t/w/ UIW earlier beat #23 aggy for whatever it's worth.

I've got it! We'll only agree to play people at home! Problem solved! National champions!

I think he averaged 60 wins per year in the 80s
