Never much of a Ramones fan, but that pushes them up a notch to me.

At least we have some real targets we can put in a "merry-go-round" with our Apaches again. Russians make great bullet stoppers.

The latest coup surge will likely be put down, but the more chaos that is created by the crazy US government, the more blowback towards the US will result. Those of you who continue to cheer on these covert and overt regime change operations are fools. The rest of the world is gradually creating coalitions to block the US and even allies are moving away from us. And yet, you egg on the Neocons and blindly follow their stupidity.

I guess you haven’t seen the footage yet of his military jumping ship and changing sides. It’s happening as we speak. Not sure how the US government can be blamed for all the chaos that’s happening. The people are hungry and desperate.

My God, you are ignorant. Assuming the coup succeeds in ousting Madura, there would be no orderly secession of power. No, instead you would see an expansion of bloodshed not only throughout Venezuela, but the region as well.
This isn’t about saving the starving people. Libya wasn’t about saving the population Neither was Syria. That’s just propaganda necessary to get the support of the dumbass population to buy in. It works every time.

Yeah lack food isn’t something that’s all that important. :rolleyes1:

You just stated before my last post “the latest coup surge will likely be put down”. Inform you with “military jumping ship”. So you then go straight to “assuming the coup succeeds”. You kinda did a U turn.

Oh and you sure get triggered fast. Calm down snow flake. You logged a lot of hours defending everything in Venezuela as rosy and you are coming across now that you just discovered there’s no wizard of Oz or a such thing as Santa.

But I like how you think you got so much knowledge how that region is affected if Maduro is ousted. I’m prefer to take a watch and see approach when he’s overthrown.

For someone advocating “wait and see,” you sure did a lot of gloating, celebrating, and cheer leading when the ruckus erupted.

Any starving taking place in that country is abetted by the illegal sanctions and US orchestrated theft of state resources. The contradictory rhetoric out of the US government would be laughable if not for the seriousness of the situation.

The US is now largely a criminally run organization which resembles a mafia.

Not gloating, but more of a vindication for everybody but you who has posted on this topic.

Blaming America for other countries problems is like blaming cops for shooting an aggressive criminal.

I’m sure Germans stated the case for their Nazi leaders much the same.

“Blaming Germany for Poland’s problems is like blaming the SS for shooting an aggressive criminal.”

    You are defending the indefensible.

Damn, the commies are on to our plan!

Seriously Boris, why do you waste your time posting weak propaganda that nobody believes? The insecurity of the rooskies was somewhat understandable after WWII. Now, however, you just look like the Democrat party's buffoons spouting conspiratorial garbage.

Well, Mr. IH35, looks like you didn't have to wait very long. Today's coup attempt was little more than a PR flop, using staged false perceptions and more lies to try to gain support. It has already failed. From MOB:(MoA - Venezuela - Random Guyaidó's New Coup Attempt Turns Out to Be A Dangerous Joke)
    17:00 utc

Video of some six alleged coup soldiers who loudly claim their innocence (machine translated):

Coup soldiers surrender in #Venezuela and claim they were brought to the uprising under deception by military deserters followers of John Guaidó
Quotes from a speech by Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino (machine translated):

A small group, tiny military and police officers decided to kidnap SOME GNB vehicles, armaments and ammunition. They broke in this morning and they bet on the Altamira dealer
Weapons of War, rifles and machine guns were placed, betting on the roads through which the citizens move. It is a coup attempt, no doubt, of a mediocre magnitude
80 percent of the troops who came to this call were deceived. He sought to bring chaos and death to a group of country soldiers who were deceived into committing a terrorist act
It is a coup attempt of a very small and negligible magnitude. We have given immediate response: all the commands of the #FANB, of the components, of the tactical units, operative, of the Redis, Zodi, of the militia were immediately reported
80 percent of those who were taken there, deceived, left on their own and reported with their natural controls.
The majority of the military with weapons have left the place and have gone to the Plaza Altamira, where they are reediting everything that we live in the year 2002
We will not allow any aggression against the law, institutionality, democracy and the Constitution. The Republic's weapons are to defend their sovereignty and independence.
Responsiblity for any bloodshed and violence to the fascist and anti-patriotic leadership, which does not deserve respect from Venezuelans or FANB, because they try to use military for their own purposes.
"Miraflores cannot be reached by violence. Who arrives in Miraflores for violence, will be overthrown by violence, "says Vladimir Godfather Lopez, Minister of Defense of #Venezuela
(FANB, GNB, Redis, Zodis are abbreviations for the Venezuelan army, National Guard and other security forces.)

    18:00 utc

Opposition TV showed Guaidó and López talking in a crowd of maybe a thousand all white people in Altamira. There were six men in Army and National Guard uniforms with them plus four bulky bodyguards in civilian clothes (one of color). They drove away in four seemingly armored SUVs with darkened windows.

Some radical youngsters on motorcycles still play cat and mouse with riot police and national guard near the airbase. The number of people near the airbase and on the bridges shrunk considerably.

It seems that the whole event is over.

The conclusion below from our first entry today seem to have been correct.

    ---

Guaidó seems to have neither a base nor large scale military support nor access to significant military equipment. If that does not change this coup attempt is likely to fail within a few hours.

This is what a real diplomat - one with integrity - speaks like. Compare this man's character to that of Pompeo, Bolton, etc.

Joe, this is fake news originated from the mouth of Mike “we lie, we cheat, we steal” Pompeo. It’s on par with the babies taken from the incubators in Kuwait, the bogus gas attack in Syria, and the Russians colluded with Trump. It’s all deception for the gullible.

    Ok 3 things.

    1) it’s not a coup. As soon as Maduro leaves the country (which will happen soon) Venezuela will hold a free and fair election to pick a new leader.

    2) it’s not a flop. This is only the 7th inning of a baseball game. Maduro’s Days are numbered.

    3) this is not staged, it’s happening as we speak.

Do you really feel Maduro is the right guy for Venezuela?
